Why can I gift a far better ball, and at a higher level as well, but not a Legend ball?

As the only things available to legends only I think the balls should stay. I do find the Z better than the standard one, it tends to go the expected distance more reliably. Really the only thing wrong with it is not being able to win any in a CC tourney.
WGT would sell more. There have been times I wanted to gift balls but because I could not gift them the balls they were using, I just did not gift at all. Maybe if we could use whatever ball we wanted to during the game I would have, but not when we have to commit to just one brand at the beginning of the game.
Probably expect players to hit legend faster if they do with no gifting.
