  Why does by drive take one bounce in the rough and stop on a downhill shot with the wind at my back? It's crazy. That is the biggest thing I want corrected. The rough grabs the ball way too easily on the tee shot. The approach shots are pretty bad too. This is my biggest complaint.

  The rough is rather annoying. My best advice is: Stay out of it.

  Agreed, and although I'm using a bit of slow comp at the moment, the rough is not like that in life.

  The most unrealistic thing about this game is the putting.  It's ridiculous how inconsistent it is.

  Perhaps a "tad" easier said than done.

  In fact, in some places, I am convinced the Flash game holds a few "set sequences" instead of a relatively realistic roll effect of a spherical object!

  Chipping is what drives me nuts. Some shots roll forever uphill, if the ball bounces before it lands on the green on chip shot it dies. flop shots can roll forever uphiill or downhill.

  For what it is worth, this works for me, not 100% but close to that

  chip from 15/20, add about 2 ft to the actual putt

  20/25 add 3 ft

  40/50 add 4-5ft

  60/70 just pray

  I have been very successful with the flop out of the sand by pulling the marker to your left about a half inch on the screen, and adding about 2-3 ft to the distance. Works well when you have 10-14 ft, and sand is 15/20

  60/70 I would try adding 50% to shot distance full b/s and use punch shot this will work and no hit and hope needed.There are ways to get out of all lies you need to practice.
