Have you tried the Burners yet? I'm interested to hear your take on them. I've been using them for a while now, slowly getting used to the meter.
Just for the heck of it I rented the level 83 G20s today. I like the slower meter but they don't quite have the feel of the Burners. It seems that with the Pings, mishits are more easily forgiven, but by the same token, a ding with the G20s is not quite so well rewarded as a ding with the Burners. I like the stopping power of the Burners over the Pings, too.
It's more of a challenge (for me) to play well with the Burners, but when you're on your game they're quite rewarding. I have to say it's very tempting for me to go with the G20s just for the slower meter. I'll turn 61 this summer and needless to say, reflexes ain't what they used to be.
In the end I guess it's good to have choices. I may just buy the G20s to have both sets in inventory so on any particular day I can bag either one.
On another note, I've also been using the free rental weekend to try out the high level Cleveland wedges...man, these clubs are fun! Pretty steep learning curve, but when dialed in just right it's like throwing darts...incredible clubs.
