Maintenance is necesary and we all love when something new came out! :)

...probably an advise would help players to program his games... save, finish, shot the best score etc.

may be changing one of those add that show us the new nikes balls or clubs and put the maintenance time instead; or simply an email sent to all the member one day before or 12 hours before the mainteinane

Don't know just an idea... if we know... we cant complain :)

Another Idea that can complement the TIme Advice is:

I would love to see a WGT clock inside the site, so we can know the time things are happening.

We are players from around the world and different times zones, Add a clock in the WGT community section with WGT time (I believe is PST) and a conversion to our current time zone!

this will help us to finish games, know the ending time of tournaments, make appointments with friends for match and community organized tournaments...etc

I play pretty much every day and each month the site is only down for maintenance once maybe twice in this time and only for a few hours. Most tournaments run for a week so everyone has plenty of time to play their rounds.

Hiya, thanks for the reply, doesn't solve the problem though.   Would you not even consider this to be a genuine need by all of us on the other side of the world.

On another note, why is this blog credited to "Golferp57p" for starting it?   Even on my profile it still says I don't have any blog posts?

    Hi

DO we do maintenance when it's convenient for us. Yes, of course, because we have to have the right personnel to work specific times. We also have to make sure many other elements are right.

I am sorry for the inconvenience but we cannot possibly please everyone :)

    Hello Icon,

Believe it or not I'm giving, IMO, a compliment instead of bitc...!

WGT does EVERYTHING for their convenience and to my knowledge and IMO, has never had the guts or backbone to admit it.

I hope now that your masters will, since you have broken the ice and they can see being forthwith isn't all that painful,  allow this breakthrough to continue.

    Again, I salute your courage!!!!

sarcasm is the lowest form of wit

I know it's late to respond but since I couldn't respond then, IMO, late is better than allowing some to think I was being sarcastic.

Perhaps a bit of 'tongue in cheek' but certainly not sarcastic. My statement as posted was very true and if you are aware of the many times management sticks their head in the sand instead of being forthwith, you might understand why, IMO,  I was NOT being sarcastic.

Be that as it may, I think the OP's question " On another note, why is this blog credited to "Golferp57p" for starting it?  Even on my profile it still says I don't have any blog posts?"  was a valid one.

Hmmmm, much easier to keep 'head in sand' rather that take a few minutes and find out?  Seems it's much better to ignore than admit you have no idea.
