Also, what does that number mean next to your level (Hack has mostly 150.0, I have 72.5 now)?

Your "title" ( Tier ) is determined by your average and you will always move up and never down. And the number ( level ) is set by points you earn by playing, This can also be called your experience level. at the end of each round or game you will see a screen pop up with points on it, This is what adds up to unlock equipment in the pro shop.
