    DAZZA501:
There will never be a set of irons better than the R11's with a slower meter.

Actually, recent history would support the notion that WGT is creating better clubs with slower meters - as they have already done with G20's and new RBZ clubs - why? Because people will buy them!! The trend used to be - new and better clubs had higher meter speeds, so that seems to have been reversed - zero fast meter clubs have debuted recently, yet Nike balls (which slow meter) have.  Personally, I have no problem with fast meters when they are smooth and predictable. However, we all know that for many, that isn't always the case. It isn't the slowness that appeals to me, however a slower meter club is MUCH easier to avoid making a bad swing with an errant meter.

I have bought the new top RBZ clubs, and with Nike top balls they have proven so far very consistent and precise. The mid-trajectory may yield a longer roll on some long approaches than a high-trajectory would, but I have to say that over all these clubs are a fun and worthy choice for the likes of me.

Will this translate to even lower scores?  Is there a 49 out there?

I still haven't hit a shot less than 240 with the RBZ 3W, most go like 260-290!
