Could we get some different green speeds on occasion? Every tournament currently running is very fast. Not to mention ranked rounds are by default very fast. The only way to escape these very fast greens is practice and sometimes the ready- go's. Repetition = boredom. Boredom = no fun. A game that is no fun = failure. Simple, no? Can't remember the last time I saw low wind speeds either, come to think of it.

Not sure what you are talking about. Most of the multi round tourneys start out with slow greens then the second round is very fast. I see more fast greens than any thing else. I think  you may have a problem with your set-up.

If this is the case that lower tiers get slower green, that doesn't make much sense to me. I think they should be constantly mixed to make players of any tier adjust to different green speeds.

Strange, but I experience every green speed in all the tournaments, including wind conditions.  Is there a difference between the tiers?  That is question that someone else needs to answer.

I do agree that they need to mix up the ready-go tournaments with one condition to the next in each RG tournament.  Variety is fun, and necessary.

Well I am only Amateur+ and so far I think I've only ever seen "Standard Greens" where the ball either rockets across my screen or stops as though it has hit a brick wall in front of my putter!! (Possibly a slight exaggeration! :) ) The green fringes I also find incredibly unrealistic in behaviour. :(

Green Speed has always defaulted to your tier for ranked rounds.  The reason that newer players (Hack/Amateur) play Standard greens in ranked rounds is so they can get up to speed on the interface quickly and learn the ins and outs of the game.

Tournament conditions will vary depending on whether or not it's a tiered tournament.  If it is not tiered (like Multiround Opens) the conditions are essentially selected at random.  If it is a  tiered event then you are likely to face challenging conditions set for your specific tier.  This does not always mean that Masters will play on Very Fast greens in tournaments, but most of the time they will.  This simulates the tougher playing conditions that PGA Tour Pros face in their tournaments versus their Hooters Tour counterparts.

Hope that answers the question. =)

About what I figured. But pros also face many different green speeds through out the season.

Understood. But if you look at all the master tier tournaments currently running (excluding the multi-round, which seems to be everyone's justifying excuse) you will see they are ALL very fast. Been the case for several months now. I would just like to see it vary in at least one tournament from week to week,

Also, WGT lists the variety of speeds as being....

    Very Slow
    Slow
    Standard
    Fast
    Very Fast
    Tournament
    Championship

Of all those varieties you would think they could mix it up a little bit. And I don't recall ever seeing Tournament or Championship speeds. And if this game is to be more challenging for Masters, then wouldn't throwing a good mix of speeds be better than just one? I mean if ya play very fast week after week, you're going to get it down pretty good, to where it's not challenging at all.

We do mix it up quite a bit and I hate to harp on those Multirounds, but that's where you'll see it most often.  There are two of those events each week and three tiered events.  We also flip the conditions in the ready-go's every so often and eventually that will be graduated to a more randomized condition pattern.

Very Slow, Tournament & Championship speeds we have yet to introduce.  The game continues to grow every day and some of the features are still under the "just haven't gotten there yet" category.  We will get there.  We just have to take it one day at a time right now. =)

We appreciate your patience.  Hang in there! =)
