After hitting lvl 86 I can't buy a birdie! I missed a 2.5ft, no grid movement, hit a ding and stopped 2" left of hole. missing 3' is common. My fairway irons are landinng 3-6yds or less from hole and I consistently miss! Does putting get much more precise and does the side wind effect kick in at that level? I've already adjusted for headwind. This is aggravating and discouraging.

Also I have found Cleveland wedges very inconsistant with any ball, I've tried them all. They seem to draw back when they feel like it. I've dinged full hit swings with full backspin, hitting a few yards futher to draw back and they always stick. On half strokes and half drawback they they draw like hell. I just use it now out of curiosity.

I always check the putt that shows no movement  in chip view.  This will give you a true read as you can see any movement.

The putts will break harder with the green speed increase.  As far as the wind effecting the "kick", if you have a 15 mph wind going left to right you want to aim a little further left than normal if using full back spin.  In that situation I would add an additional 2-3 yards for run after initial contact with the putting surface.

Don't give up, it will get better with practice. I hope this helps!

first rule w top CG wedges and backspin - on full shots, almost never do that. They spin enuf w out adding any more. BS IS useful on punches (esp from bunkers) and on chip[s and pitches  - these wedges are like a fine wine - takes a while - and a lotta sips- to fully appreciate em.

    LeGeNdCrUsHeR-

I was talking about the left and right side wind while putting on the green. It seemed @ lvl 85 or 86 side wind has come into effect.

You will have minimal effect from the wind while putting, especially inside 10 feet.

I'm still in putting hell. I'd estimate 90% of my final putts are 2"-1.5ft. My iron and wedges are improving dramatically due to the fact that I can no longer putt and needed to get closer to the pin. I've been dropping the ball 1-3yds about 80% of the time. My accurate drives are also up. It's discouraging as hell when I can't make an easy birdie putt. I no longer play skins because it is embarrassing to be a so called "master" and you can't putt worth squat.  I entered one a few days ago and repeatedly missed <3ft putts. I was putting decent a few weeks ago but once I hit lvl83 it went to hell. Has anyone else gotten into this mess?
