slmpickins: 2.5ft, no grid movement, hit a ding and stopped 2" left of hole.
I always check the putt that shows no movement in chip view. This will give you a true read as you can see any movement.
slmpickins: Does putting get much more precise and does the side wind effect kick in at that level?
The putts will break harder with the green speed increase. As far as the wind effecting the "kick", if you have a 15 mph wind going left to right you want to aim a little further left than normal if using full back spin. In that situation I would add an additional 2-3 yards for run after initial contact with the putting surface.
