Was quite excited to see that US Open has arrived at WGT today.Give a try and got a decent enough score of 106 on the very first day.But then i stumble upon the tournament rules and found out that i am not even eligible for any prizes(well u never know).

There is only  selected nationalities i.e.United States and the District of Columbia, Canada (excluding Quebec), the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Australia, the Netherlands, Norway, and South Korea who will be winning the prizes. This is just a case of blunt favorism.

Even if u accept this unequal treatment, why is then WGT letting people who are not eligible to play in the tournatement anyway?Whats the point of that?Just let them know that you are not welcome .

But WGT is misleading people by stating that tournament is open for residents of all countries.

So much for World Golf Tour.

Would you be complaining about the unfairness if you lived in a country that qualifies?

I am absolutely certain WGT would give the prizes out to all countries if it wasn't for some legal issue.
