the most consecutive par 5's played in Ready-Go's with the wind against?  I'm pretty sure I'm close.. I think the last 946 times I've played par 5's in RG's the wind has been directly in my face... or pretty close.. lol...  But it's just  'random', right?  yeah, that's it.. just my bad luck... hahaha WGT.. ;)

Ok,  you aren't alone in your thought, but in perspective, wind out may give the eagle putt, but when you miss it(more oft than not) its all the same again, blown op,and nothing more than a dismal birdie, par 5.  wtf.

Thanks for your 'perspective', wtf.  However, you missed the point.  If I can't reach the green in two there is a 0.0% chance of me making the eagle putt.  Just saying the law of averages is not working out of late (just in RG's, of course).  I also have to ding a drive and a 3 wood to carry the crapola on the SA's par 5 on the back 9 (14?)  otherwise I'm hitting 4 iron for my 3rd there.

I feel your pain, I am not exaggerating when I say I have played about 20 Rg's in the past 2 days and haven't had 1 tail or even side/tail wind on 1 par 5. It is getting damn frustrating!!

As you mentioned, it's nice to at least have that eagle putt, regardless of whether  you miss or not.... definitely beats a wedge or iron for eagle.

If you all want eagle's go and play whistler, I've had 4 eagles in a row on #6.lol appart from Cabo #4 its the easiest.

As for the wind, when i play St Andrews #14 in best of ready go I've never ever had a headwind, as for St Andrews ready go #14 i bet 70% of the time you DO get headwind, but as for the other par 5's i probably get 70% tail so all in all they do cancel each other out. (but the other par 5's aren't usually that important like Bethpage or Cabo, its only Congressional front 9 par 5 which is another easy eagle with minimal tail but impossible with headwind, R.S.G front par 5 too!)

    EDIT:

I've just played the $5 ready go, i was the first person to enter, i get 10mph wind max on every single hole, i'm -13 through #14, at 14 you guessed it i got 16 mph HEADWIND, risk the bunker shot and land in fescue!  (not to worry, still managed my first ever 54, ifit wasn't for 1 pesky hole might have been 53, now this was a round where deviation WAS on my side, even missed ding with wind would land within 2 yards!)
