    I did not like what the players are getting in the way which they are accustomed to playing as true professionals take it as soon as possible

    stevietwotimes:

    wtf!!!!!!!!! get it off my screen.

    i use avatar movements and its just a distraction.

    think you should have offered it to people as a choice not just stick it on everyones screen.

    can you plz remove it if possible.

    thx stevie2x.

    i thought putter pal was the dumbest thing when they came out with it, but it's actually helped me nail a couple of putts.  and I use avatar movements too.  if i have a putt that i know i have to hit 9' and my avatar movements are 6' increments, i have to guess where the 9' is between the 6 & 12 movements.  but the putter pal has lines that show half-way between avatar movements.  or if i need to hit one 6.75, i know where 6' is, i know where 9' is, and even 7.5'.  so i can go right between 6' and 7.5' and that's my 6.75 i'm looking for.

    i hit a putt on Kiawah #9, landed my approach shot on the front of the green about 11' short of the hole.  the first few grids had the ball going right and then the last half or so were going back left.  without putter-pal, i would have hit it too hard and powered right through the last few breaks.  WITH putter-pal, i was thinking "damn it, left it too far right" but because i had the right speed, it died right into the cup.  i'm noticing a lot of shorter follow-up putts too because it has my distance dead-on.

    i don't use it for every putt, mind you.  and i'm glad i found the way to shut it off, but if i've got an in-between distance, absolutely it helps me.

    hpurey:

    1. Putts don't count toward the hits on your golf ball, so I think if you just hit putter from tee to green you wouldn't waste any balls.

    Actually hpurey - ANY shot counts against the balls counter if the shot is taken from off of the green - including the fringe.  Kind of blows but I have had a putt from the fringe be the last shot on a ball so I'm fairly certain this is accurate.

    <Deep sigh>

    Seems the only way to get rid of this unwanted nonsense is to use up the 100 putts.....I've just done 50 on St A. Losing the will to live.

    If WGT ever force something like this on me again, I'll leave.

    *Edited 2 hrs later - Ah, ok, I should read thru forums before posting.....thanks to those more knowledgable who knew that option was there at the bottom of the list in-game.

    Have killed the pesky thing now!
