    MioKontic:
Unlike golf, baseball has a very limited audience, mainly America.

This is true only if you willfully ignore the billion and a half people in Asian and Latin American countries who live for baseball.

    MioKontic:
I just can't seem to get the rules - they seem rather convoluted.  And so for that reason I, and I dare say many other non-Americans, are put off by it.

Cricket is global and is absurdly convoluted. No other sporting match incorporates meal breaks, last for days, and can go from a score of 2-5 to a score of 743-1125 when nothing appears to have happened.

Though in it's defense, Cricket does afford people an opportunity to say things like "Beat the bat" "Block hole" and "Bump ball" in polite company.

More fun cricket terminology: Dibbly Dobbly, Death overs, Cart-wheeling stump, Dink, Donkey drop, Full bunger, Fruit salad, Googly, Mullygrubber, Nurdle, Pie chucker, Silly nanny, Sticky wicket,

Heh, I could see where, if that's what you're used to, terms like ball, strike, single, double, triple, home run, safe, out, double play, triple play, bunt, sacrifice, pick off, stolen base and run batted in would confuse one.   LOL

    HAHAHA

    You'll love this one then!!!!!

A recent Scottish immigrant attends his first baseball game in his new country and after a base hit he hears the fans roaring run....run! The next batter connects heavily with the ball and the Scotsman stands up and roars with the crowd in his thick accent: "R-r-run ya bahstard, r-run will ya!" A third batter slams a hit and again the Scotsman, obviously pleased with his knowledge of the game, screams "R-r-run ya bahstard, r-r-run will ya!" The next batter held his swing at three and two and as the ump calls a walk the Scotsman stands up yelling "R-r-run ya bahstard, r-r-run!" All the surrounding fans giggle quietly and he sits down confused.

A friendly fan, sensing his embarrassment whisper, "He doesn't have to run, he's got four balls." After this explanation the Scotsman stands up in disbelief and
screams, "Walk with pr-r-ride man! Walk with pr-r-ride!!!!"

I have been playing it for about 3 weeks. It's extremely hard at first to train and make money. Then out of the effing blue, they did an update and raised the cost of stadiums to beyond reality.......I may well be done with it.

A stadium that costed 500k Monday now costs 1.5 million. One that was 2 million is now 8 million. So, all the people that got stadiums early on paid squat for them and the new players will suffer for months trying to buy one.

    Just my two cents.

Uncanny, the parallel universe at WGT baseball. This was an answer to GD's stadium cost observation. Apparently the business model works.  :-)

Hi all, it's not our intention at all to make purchasing stadiums unattainable, just to keep improving the challenge of the game as we continue to add features and improvements. This increase was implemented to compensate for the increase in earnings (with the addition of Seasons and sponsors/contracts, it significantly increased the amount of coins a player can earn). Additionally, we've decreased the cost of coins in the game to make them more affordable, depending on your ballpark level.

We try to limit changes like these, but as the game evolves there will be times when prices, features, etc. will need to be adjusted. Thanks so much for all your support!

No, I'm saying it DID cost 500k baseball credits and now, it's 1.5 million.
