    craigswan:
yesterday i bought a scots mince pie for lunch and a tin of beans to pour over the top .saluvating at the thought i quickly heated up pie and beans only to cut open the mince pie to find it was a rhubarb tart .

that does not sound like a very appetizing meal... fruit and gas or would it be gassy fruit?

No animals were killed in the making of this post .

jelly donuts - i prefer the custard ones from asda .can only manage to eat 5 at one sitting .

Firstly, mince pie and beans???  Or even rhubarb pie and beans???  I prefer mine with cream.

Next, custard doughnuts (the English spelling!).  Out of Tesco's, Sainsbury's and Asda doughnuts, I much prefer Asda too.  But only 5???  You wimp!  Lightweight!  I could eat many more than 5, but I don't because... well, I'd balloon to astronomical proportions!

And, being that I wouldn't want to be remiss in wishing my  new found friends a happy holiday season ( in somewhat of absentia ) , be it known here, that my thoughts are for your continued health and happiness.

    Doc :)

my mother told me for lunch to boil an egg for 3 minutes , cut the top off and dip my soldiers in .

unfortunately she never said the water had to be boiling first .

what a mess but funny memories .

But then I'm feeling a little sad today. My Hamster has died :-(

Well, technically he's not dead, but I have run out of hamster food, so it's only a matter of days now.
