  I got a 2 on #5 SA but screwed up the next few holes so dumped the round. I had no idea Albs.  were so rare or I would have finished. I would add the second shot was a 3W OUT OF THE ROUGH! I would also point out I never saw the ball go in as the camera angle was behind a berm. Believe me or not, I feel great for having found this thread - maybe I'm the only Alb. out of rough? Ha!

  How can a golfer NOT know double eagles are rare?

  ummm...because WGT is not golf. Unlike the real game, shooting in the 50's on a championship course  is routine. I assumed DE's would be fairly ho-hum for all these studs (and cheats).

  697 rounds here, 1 Albatross. Reasonably rare, I say.

  While this one isnt mine, its from a member of my CC, Phil ....Essisdaddy player name. His daughter is Essi, hence the name :-)

  Albatross the rarest shot in golf you say? How bout Phil's HIO/Albatross on the par 4 16th @ St Andys. And he did it on Christmas day, a nice present lol.
