you've got to be kidding me ,
they're are people shooting 53 in the us open tournament . ther is just no way possible to do that on that course without cheating . I don't care who you are , without cheating
say what you will , but in no way anybody is that good at this game . WGT needs to figure out what they are doing . to get scores that low , otherwise there's no reason to even attempt to play any of the tournaments on this game
cheaters can and do screw any game up . lol have fun shooting 53 ,,,,,,,,,,NOT............
Really tiresome. Everytime someone sticks his head above the mowfield it needs to be chopped off.
I'm guessing Messi runs on steroids, Ronaldo on Greece, Jordan had springs in his shoes and Ronnie O'Sullivan used a remote ball controller...Not to mention RUNWME, who has the sourcecode of WGT.com gameclient; a fact well prooven by his 49 in the Sun tourny (He missed 6 eagles intentionally btw; like Bubka in his day, he knows a record has to be broken by a bit multiple times).
Are there cheaters on this game? Sure there are; humans will be humans. Autoclickers, MegaDingers, double accounters...you name them, they are here.(Never seen any proof it though)
But accusing someone of cheating just because he's good (or better then yourself?) is not an argument i would go to court with. I shot a 56 in the Sun tourny: pretty good by any standard; even more so considering i missed 5 rather makeable birdies. I use a little tool i build in Excell. It calculates distance and deviation (wind) based on lenght, windspeed and angle of wind. Does THAT make me a cheat? My point is: i'm an ok player, not in the range of BiB, RUNWME etc., and even I can shoot a 56 (my best is 55 from lgd tees)
Are there no problems then? Sure there are, and they may even be caused by RUNWME or BIB, or me for that matter. Shooting 49's from easy tees, or 53's on a course that has been available fore less then a week, or an ok player being able to shoot 55, IS a bit over the top in the context of WGT wanting to be "the most realistic" golf simulation.
But then again, this a Virtual Reality game; nothing more, nothing less.
But don't blame the players for making the most of the game and obvious ability, or conlude they are cheaters based on nothing.
Frankly, they shouldn't care about who you are either.
