Totally agree.  I've caught flack over but I'll say it again. Because of all the variables involved, there is now way players can shoot those low scores without some type of assistance.

I have asked a couple of these low shooters to show their cards and do a live webcam of them playing so we can see them shooting these amazing rounds and prove that is skill alone that they are relying on.

Guess what?  No one has accepted my request yet.

Many low scores have been scored on a live stream, or recorded and uploaded (I've got a number of them on youtube).   2ndly with your clubs nobody would be posting ridiculously low scores.  You have no idea how much easier it is to score with top level equipment.

Olympic is a great course. Tough as nails from tee to into the hole. I won't be making the cut, but i really don't mind. As the saying goes though, never say never....lol

Anyway.... watch these Videos that BolloxInBruges made... Excellent learning Vids. I've got some great tips on how to play the game watching em :)

Soulcatcher and others with realistic averages, I'm not talking about you.  Of course we all have good rounds occasionally.

I'm talking about those people with AVERAGES of 60 and below.  That is what I believe is not possible without some type of assistance with your play.

As this post originally started, with all the variables in the game and your hand to eye coordination playing a factor it is, in my humble opinion, impossible for anyone to AVERAGE this low.

I have a 60.7 ave at the moment the only assistance I get is a white can of JB...lol. There are times I want to smash the screen, but that's the game.

I also have over 2000 ranked rounds using top shelf Clubs at the moment. It might take me a few years to down to the low 50 Ave's but that's another story...lol.

Just saying the low Averages can be in reach with heaps of games under your belt, so don't get discouraged too much :)

If you think about how the game is played too much, as in, if my meter is going to stutter or Vem or whatever, then the game will bite in the behind...

Just enjoy and enjoy the ride

Figured I should make one last post since several people have been trashing me since I last looked at this thread.

I was simply stating my opinion based on my experience with playing the game. That opinion could be right or it could be wrong but in the good ol' USA I have the right to state my opinion.  I really hope it is wrong.

Maybe there are people who have played enough rounds that they have actually memorized or made a chart of how to play every shot under every condition and are able to hit the ding every time.

Unfortunately for me, my hand to eye coordination stinks and I'm lucky to hit the ding maybe one out of 20 times and there are always several shots in a round that I miss the ding by a country mile.

And by they way, to who ever brought this up because I don't remember who it was and I don't want to take the time to look,  I joined in 2009 but only started playing consistently about 4 - 6 months ago.  I'm just guessing about that time frame so please don't come back and trash me again because you figured out it was 7 months and 3 weeks ago.

Lastly, I want to apologize to anyone I offended but as explained above I was just stating my opinion based on what I believe and have had experience with.

I may be wrong about the other 99.9999999% of players on WGT but I did play with one player who I caught using a game speed changer to get a slower meter speed.  He admitted to it and then he turned it off.

Knowing the next reply will ask me how I new or why I believed he was using a game speed changer, I will tell you now.

When playing with multiple players, as all of you know, there is a timer that starts counting down for everyone at the same time.  Several times my counter hit 0 but another 5 - 10 seconds would go by and this guy would still get his shot off without receiving a time penalty.  This raised a red flag for me and when confronted he admitted that he had his game slowed down.

So, one last time, I'm not saying that everyone with awesome averages are cheating but I do think there are probably more than just this one guy who are.

Again, to everyone who is playing this game honestly, I apologize for implying that I meant you were all cheating.  That was not my intent but my stupidity evidently made it seem that way.

And to save those of you that want to trash me in future replies, yes I'm an idiot.  I'm a dumb ass who too frequently sticks his foot in his mouth because he doesn't say things the way intended.  I don't have the intelligence to explain myself correctly a lot of the time.  And even though some of you are going to think I am being sarcastic right now, I am not.  I mean what I am saying.

As I said in the beginning, this will be my last post about this so if anyone wants to discuss any of this further, send me a friend request and we can do so using private messages.

you would have to be out of your mind to believe they do not cheat.

bollox figured out how to alter the space/time continuum

i'm sure there are some people who use some kind of assistance to help their game.  and i'm not talking about yancy's ORIGINAL putter-pal 'n such.  but i think if you look at the top of the weekly leaderboards, the players at the top are just really really damn good.  it's not only about hitting the ding, it's about knowing what the ball will do, what kind of bs/ts to use, how the wind will impact it, and where to hit it so you are in good position for your next shot/putt.  i've only played with a couple of the top players, but I think they tend to knock their approach shots consistently within about 10' then putt the daylights out of the ball.  that's a good recipe for low scores.  and maybe VEM gets them too, but if it does, i imagine they just end up making a 20' putt instead of a 5'.

i wouldn't say cheating purely because I know a few of the early leaders and they do have the low sub 60 game.

perhaps they just took to it like a duck to water or were just lucky.

i've had so many putts roll completely through the pin in one round which stop less than 6 inches through...which kinda tells me it wasn't due to speed.

i wonder who from the top 10 or 20....were beta testing the course months prior to it's release for everyone else to play.

either way...it's the same every year.

    TBE, c'mon.

You have one posted round that I could find for the qualifier.  A 58.

My guess is maybe you (as did I) did 10 restarts to post that score?

Maybe the top 20 did the same?
