Sweet Mother of God! *Sigh*
Now I seriously need to stop following this thread. I cbb to sit around wasting time reading what so many have written before:
MAN! 1st day - new course and you pull out a 12 under par??? CHEATER!!!
I haev yet to go a round with one of those legend/tour masters who do those rounds. But man - if I ever did, I wouldn't dream of calling them cheaters. I would ask a s**tload of questions about how they read greens, lies, distances, fairways and stuff.
Seems to me that it is ALWAYS those who don't put in serious practice time in this game, for whatever reason, that cries the most about this. It is getting tiresome.
RUNWME got jacked up on RedBull, took a weekend of and sat around his computer for 33 hours to hand in a scorecard of 49 for a full18 on Kiawah Island.
Okay - I would probably not be doing that - but that doesn't mean he didn't do it. And it certainly doesn't mean he cheated his way to it. Cheating doesn't require 33 hours of mindless restart when it doesn't go like you would want it to.
Now seriously people - I have said it before and I will say it again: The best applied skill to use in this game, is the ability to control your finger clicking on the mouse.
Reading: Holes, drives, fairways, greens, bunkers, rough and what else is required to do, to move your little white ball from tee to hole, is simply a matter of spending time practicing, practicing, practicing. Once you have practiced for 1000+ rounds (ranked as well as simple practice rounds, which btw. doesn't count in your stats) you will notice your stats has improved as well.
And at some point you will be able to hand in a scorecard that says 53 as well.
This is a G-A-M-E. GAME people. Why do every whiner keep losing track of that?
And also: It is a dangerous thing calling people cheaters without some evidence of that hapening.
Innocent until proven guilty!
Cheating you say? Proove it! Otherwise buckle up and go practice.
