53 .......   17 under around Olympic.....the same day the course opens with only 6-8 practice tries ......without some form of cheat program?

Now they have at least 3 players at 53:)....... and the current cut is 59....what a joke!

There are over 5 million players on WGT and you can be sure that 99.99% of those members have never even come close to a 59, including me:)...have fun you .01% players fighting for the golden fleece:)

    Sweet Mother of God! *Sigh*

Now I seriously need to stop following this thread. I cbb to sit around wasting time reading what so many have written before:

MAN! 1st day - new course and you pull out a 12 under par??? CHEATER!!!

I haev yet to go a round with one of those legend/tour masters who do those rounds. But man - if I ever did, I wouldn't dream of calling them cheaters. I would ask a s**tload of questions about how they read greens, lies, distances, fairways and stuff.

Seems to me that it is ALWAYS those who don't put in serious practice time in this game, for whatever reason, that cries the most about this. It is getting tiresome.

RUNWME got jacked up on RedBull, took a weekend of and sat around his computer for 33 hours to hand in a scorecard of 49 for a full18 on Kiawah Island.
Okay - I would probably not be doing that - but that doesn't mean he didn't do it. And it certainly doesn't mean he cheated his way to it. Cheating doesn't require 33 hours of mindless restart when it doesn't go like you would want it to.

Now seriously people - I have said it before and I will say it again: The best applied skill to use in this game, is the ability to control your finger clicking on the mouse.

Reading: Holes, drives, fairways, greens, bunkers, rough and what else is required to do, to move your little white ball from tee to hole, is simply a matter of spending time practicing, practicing, practicing. Once you have practiced for 1000+ rounds (ranked as well as simple practice rounds, which btw. doesn't count in your stats) you will notice your stats has improved as well.
And at some point you will be able to hand in a scorecard that says 53 as well.

This is a G-A-M-E. GAME people. Why do every whiner keep losing track of that?

And also: It is a dangerous thing calling people cheaters without some evidence of that hapening.

    Innocent until proven guilty!

Cheating you say? Proove it! Otherwise buckle up and go practice.

Pull the other one it plays Jingle Bells

I Challenge ANYONE who has shot 57 or less around Olympic to play off the back tees in a group with me and shoot 59 or better

Take into consideration though that I have a way of identifying if you are using nearly ALL the cheat programs available!!

    I bet I :

    1 Get NO TAKERS

2 If I do NO ONE Scores better than 59

See if I am proved wrong!!

    pejon60:

These are scores posted within 6 hours of the qualifying being opened!!!!!!!!

Olympic was playable long before the Qualifier was started!!!

    pejon60:

In fact I CHALLENGE anyone of the players who have shot 56 or better ,,,,,to play a game around Olympic  in a group with me and see if they cant shoot 59 or better

I warn you that I have a way of telling if you are using nearly ALL CHEAT PROGRAMS!!

    YEA RIGHT, LMAO

I bet your way is if they play better than you!!!!!

There are over 5 million players on WGT

.....and 100 will qualify for the US Open. (approx. 1 out of every 50,000 players)

In real life there are an estimated 50 to 60 million golfers worldwide, yet only 156 of them will qualify for the US Open. (approx. 1 out of every 385,000 players)

By my math.......your odds are roughly 7 times better to qualify on here.

So, what's with all the whining??  Is it because Mummy and Daddy can't simply buy a qualification spot for you in order to shut you up?  You may actually have to EARN something all on your own?  Oh noes!!  Welcome to the real world, kiddies......

I shot a 60 at Olympic and was under the cut line for a few days...there was a time (not too long ago) that I could never imagine going that low.

I shot a 58 on the first day and could care less about qualifying to be honest. The inconsistent greens speeds are a shocker, so I'll be wasting no more time or $4 a sleeve balls on it for the sake of getting a hat.

I on the other hand do want a hat (I'm still owed one for last year WGTICon).

I have played only this course since qualifying began. Had a few rounds where a 57 was a distinct possibility, only for a silly mistake or missed putt to cost me.

    Until Tonight.

Shot a 54 for tied 4th place, and missed 12ft puts at 8 and 16 cos I didn't hit them hard enough for the break.

I won't be winning the top prize, but I did want that hat, so keep at it guys.

By the way I think 13 under (57) will qualify

Lol, I need to charge my camera up and take a pic of my Open hat from last year.  I work outdoors mostly, but when you see the hat, you'll have  a warm fuzzy for me if I qual;)
