  I have played Olympic a total of once - shot a 66. (just got lucky I guess)  I will play it again for fun - though I know I have no chance of getting anywhere near the lead.   I read a lot about cheating - and there might be a few out there - but if you look at the names at the top of the leaderboard - they are all damn good players - and have been for a long time. - If they were cheaters they would almost surely have been weeded out by now.  Just my 2 cents worth.

  i don't know how people are doing it......

  3 times tonight i've been -8 after 9 holes then all hell breaks loose on the back 9 with the meter going effing nuts....chucking balls into trees or 40/50.

  how come front 9 goes smooth as a baby's bum...but back 9 meter's spikes all over the place.

  it seems to me like a case of play..play..play till you get a decent 18 holes with meter = you've also spent a ton on sleeves of balls so wgt give you safe passage to at least get a fair go at it.

  seems more pot luck than anything else.

  and quite how a 116 yrd shot with a tad of bs (using my 120yrd club) can fly 130+ yrds is beyond me..

  this qualifier's a wind up eh?

        i know exactly where you are coming from tbe.Not once have i ever been able to put together a back9 as good as the front.-8 on the front to wide up with -2 at the clubhouse.Shots going all over the place wind not doing what they should,no use of me whining cos noone listens lol

  He was being sarcastic Acrux, and just pointing out how many silly posts there are by hacks and amateurs who say this game is terrible after only a few rounds, i.e 20. Just cause they can't seem to "hack" it.

  TBE, Its hard for me to determine if the greens speeds are inconsistent or its merely the elevations given on putts is wrong.  I see a lot of putts where the grid color does not match the elevation data displayed.  Here's one on OLY #8 short and left of the pin.

  Very interesting Andy, this would explain why players would think it's not Tournament speed greens when really they are but the elevation is not being shown correctly.

  The fact of the matter is, with these ridiculously low scores, it becomes a waste of time...and in the case of some tourney's..... actual money, to even bother signing up for one! 

  Those of us who have spent money in here that is just as green as yours is, only want a level playing field....... and a chance to enjoy the game to it's fullest...which we currently cannot.

  WGT should then offer tourney's, open only to those people  with scoring averages in the high 70's and up, so that we can all have the chance to enjoy the tournament experience and the chance to actually win won !!!
