    ArrVeeAussie:

    alosso:

You have zero arguments and act up as a referee? Gimme a break!

In your mirror you can see

     - a baby stomping helpless on the floor,

    - a dog howling when hit.

    Get a life!

    I'm sorry Alosso,

But u bore the crap outta me

No offence please...u can't help your stoopidness.

    Stoopid is as stoopid does

It's not your fault...you'll be ok

    Take care

    Rob

    alosso:

If those who spell "looser" are losers,

what about those who spell "stoopid"?

    Regretful greets

Time for an education in communication,

    It's called

METAPLASMUS: A type of neologism in which misspelling a word creates a rhetorical effect. To emphasize dialect, one might spell dog as "dawg." To emphasize that something is unimportant, we might add -let or -ling at the end of the word, referring to a deity as a "godlet" or a prince as a "princeling." To emphasize the feminine nature of something normally considered masculine, try adding the suffix -ette to the end of the word, creating a smurfette or a corvette. To modernize something old, the writer might turn the Greek god Hermes into the Hermenator. Likewise, Austin Powers renders all things shagedelic.

I don't know about handing out female avatars (I think that's what the thread was on about originally?) but I think wgt should start giving out Handbags to you boys.

If you are all just trying to have the last word then here it is :

Zyzzyva -  a genus of tropical American weevil

Well it's the last word in most English language dictionaries.

Shockingly, I agree with Rob or more like it shows he agrees with the OP and myself.

Alosso, first off you are officially an idiot. I haven't been on the computer at all the past couple of days due to travelling but I was receiving all the WGT notifications of posts in this thread on my phone and wow was it ever so irritating to read what you were saying.

First off, let me ask you this... Do you understand the concept of sexism?

    Taken strictly from Wikipedia...

"Sexism, also known as gender discrimination or sex discrimination, is defined as prejudice or discrimination based on sex; or conditions or attitudes that foster stereotypes of social roles based on sex. Sexist attitudes are frequently based on beliefs in traditional stereotypes of gender roles. Sexism is not just a matter of individual attitudes but is built into many societal institutions. The term sexism is most often used in relation to discrimination against women, in the context of patriarchy.

    What is patriarchy?

Patriarchy is a social system in which the male acts as the primary authority figure central to social organization, and where fathers hold authority over women, children, and property. It implies the institutions of male rule and privilege, and entails female subordination. Many patriarchal societies are also patrilineal, meaning that property and title are inherited by the male lineage.

I bolded the key bits in that.

WGT never advertised whether or not it was a male or female avatar they were going to hand out to those who played that one tournament. They just advertised that you WILL get a free avatar upon the completion of the tournament. They should know by now that there are both male and female users in WGT. So surely they should have made it so they would please both sides and make it so you have the choice of a male or female avatar? If they can make one to hand out for free, surely it's not that much work to make another to please EVERYONE on WGT. Isn't that the goal of business? That everyone leaves satisfied.

So the female members of WGT (such as myself) having heard that you will get a free avatar for completing one tournament, only to find out that WGT set it up so that we will be getting a male avatar as well. We don't play as Men on here, we don't have things hanging between our legs (sorry to get a little graphic lol), so quite frankly male avatars have no value to us whatsoever so why should we even bother doing that tournament in the first place?

Alosso, whether you intend it or not going by the wiki definition of sexism, you are being sexist and that's why you are getting tons of grief from people and getting no support from anyone. How would you feel had the roles been reversed?

What gets me the most is that WGT is trying to brush this all aside like no big deal (WGTicon). It is a big deal. It's not avatar that's being complained about, it's the fact WGT seems to not care about us girls on here enough to even bother considering.

Yeah there are more guys on here than girls, but that isn't a good enough reason to forget the girls that actually do play the game...

Lindsey, it's quite obvious why you wrote what you wrote but please show a little class. I'm fairly sure you weren't okay with what WGT pulled here, so why write something like that to solely aggravate one person? Two wrongs don't make a right. Have some class and move on. It's quite obvious the other won't (making a thread just for me, really?!?!).
