NormH3: There is always the possibility that WGT will go a similar direction once most of the important bugs have been ironed out. I would be surprised if they don't.
Every WGT employee that has posted on this subject has, at one time or another, stated the company policy of "FREE" and that this policy will continue when they have taken the 'beta' tag off.
Hi wheels and welcome to WGT! =)
You have the option to purchase credits to upgrade your equipment if you wish, but you'll never be required to pay a fee just to play the game.
Hi buckeyes, WGT will continue to be free to play, except for some tournaments that you would have to pay to enter.
Has anyone else played Kiawah on the Wii, Xbox or PS3? Let us know how you think it compares with playing on WGT (besides the obvious fact that WGT is free and a disc for those consoles costs nearly $60!)
Ketner - WGT credits are meant to be purchased to upgrade your playing experience and not meant as a monetary medium for you to cash out. The majority of the game experience is free and there are free ways to earn credits, which we will be improving in the future.
I, for one, am not concerned about WGT changing this policy.
