    Richard4168:

Its more like practice with meter tape, which cuts a players skill level in half.

If this game is so easy that way, then put a tape on your screen... Quite typical to say "if I would do that or this I would also achieve that or this, but I don't do it because I have some reasons".

    Richard4168:

No one can be consistent daily

Indeed, nobody is consistent all the time, even the top players be sure of that. They post good scores regularly, but they withdraw regularly too...

    Richard4168:

Hundreds of rounds is all it takes to make anyone a great player using meter tape.

Anyone? Are you sure? OK folks, put a tape on your screen and let's go.

    Richard4168:

WGT should just make the meter different for everyone equally. This will make meter tape obsolete. Maybe the ding point can be randomly changed.

Well, it would be better to throw dices before each shot, a double six is a ding. It would be a nice game no?

In any sport, perfection means being able to reproduce the exact same movements each time (nobody reaches perfection, but some try). Even if this is a game which is far from a sport, this should be the same here.

    Regards

So true genorb!  Keep in mind though, adding a meter tape requires the use of sharp objects.

Genorb, I'm not sure if you were here when a certain player called himself a Kiawah god, where he could always shoot a 27 on any given round at Kiawah. He went on to admit that he indeed used meter tape to shoot those low scores.

I don't like to use meter tape because the game wasn't intended to be played that way. Don't tell me that the better players don't use meter tape either. A very well known player on top of the earnings leader-board admitted to using meter tape. And won a lucrative prize.

Meter tape gives a player an advantage to score better then the players who don't use meter tape. You can't deny that. Judging by the nerve I struck in you, it seems you indeed use meter tape and don't want to see WGT do anything to change it.

If players would not use a point of reference on the meter bar (like the game was intended), scores and averages would definitely increase a bit. There's no skill put into something if people find ways to make it easier. I view this as someone just gaming the system to gain an unfair advantage.

LMAO to say using meter tape is "gaining an unfair advantage" as you put it is hilarious.  It't not as if we all couldn't put meter tape on our monitors hell WGT allows it for putting for Christ sake!  I don't use meter tape personally I provide my avatar with steroids I feel that since WGT doesn't currently test for steroids and they don't plan on doing so my avatar will continue to take them and beat everyone.  He also uses HGH as a way to bulk up even quicker.

Richard I would love to hear what you would recommend WGT as a way to deal with players that use meter tape on their monitors.  Maybe we create a special task force MTVU = Meter Tape Victims Unit....Thoughts?

I wonder what pro golfers would use as an equivalent to meter tape to gain an advantage over their opponent?

The meter should be the same for all players equally.

Frog, you use meter tape, don't BS me. Don't act like people don't use meter tape either.

WGT definitely needs to use the meter to make the game more difficult to shoot low scores. I can see why the better players are bucking this. Shooting low, unrealistic scores is the one thing that keeps them coming back for more.

I can honestly say I don't use meter tape I prefer steroids.  Luckily they don't test for it in this game yet.

Judging from that ridiculous answer, you do use meter tape but don't want to admit it.
