Meter tape gives a player an advantage to score better then the players who don't use meter tape. You can't deny that. Judging by the nerve I struck in you, it seems you indeed use meter tape and don't want to see WGT do anything to change it.
I was sure you would go that way and miss completely the point of my message. You are searching personal fight instead of posting constructive thoughts.
For your information, I would be quite embarrassed to use putter/iron pal. When WGT gifted a putter pal to every player that would login on a given day, the first thing I did was to get rid of it (and it was a 100 hits putter pal, quite boring to get rid of it).
The question is not if I am using or not a meter tape (if you think a bit that's not really needed, see below). That question has no point since that's not forbidden, like using avatar movements (which is a virtual meter tape since it gives you reference points). Just in case, I am wearing glasses when I play, am I allowed?
The point is that I am sickened to read all these ridiculous posts about those who are posting low scores. According to those posts, good players are either cheaters or they use unfair tricks to post those scores... That's so much lack of respect and education!

If players would not use a point of reference on the meter bar (like the game was intended), scores and averages would definitely increase a bit. There's no skill put into something if people find ways to make it easier. I view this as someone just gaming the system to gain an unfair advantage.
If you think a little, on a iron shot approach you chunk at most around 95% (going lower means going one club down), you don't need a meter tape to know where is more or less 95% on your meter, and when you know where is 95%, you know where is 97.5% which is accurate enough if you know how to putt.
Now you can answer to this post if you like to have the last word, that's my last post in this thread.
