  I couldn't agree more with the OP I am fortunate enough to know Bollox on the real golf course and let me tell you if you think he "cheats" in WGT you should seem him on the real course!  The guy is a ding machine he has to use to type of cheat/hack program on the real course.  It was incredible I mean first hole we play (shotgun format) we start on the par 3 13th hole at TPC Sawgrass Bollox dinged it slight dev ended up 5 ft easy birdie though.  It was sick man and that was the first of many dings for him on the day.  Talk about a cheater played with mrenn as well on 17 at Sawgrass he damn near made a hole-in-one landed 5 ft past and spun back to 2 ft or so.  He was using the old Cally balls had he been using the new Nike balls would have been a HIO.  The real cheater of that group had to be PGABound and by cheater I mean his meter was a cheater I've never seen so many shanks before in my life.  On #1 Sawgrass from the middle of the fairway Dan late clicks right off the hosel onto the entrance road 90 yards offline or so!  At the end of the day it doesn't matter what you do there will always be someone richer, stronger, faster, etc than you unless you are that guy and for WGT's sake "that guy" is Bollox a class act and a hell of a fun guy to hang out with.

  Yeah golf can be a lot of fun. Esspecially if you are flushing the ball cleanly like Bollox was.

  Sounds like a real fun time & thanks for the re-cap. I did read about the trip &it sounded like a riot.

  There is no point in letting someone "speak for themselves." No one is going to come out and say "Oh yeah, I use these three programs, this one putting program, and these two programs which aim the ball and hit it for me." No one would be stupid enough to do that. 

  The truth is that every single person that complains on this forum HAS NOT invested the same amount of time and effort into this game as the players who are better than them, and they are jealous because of it. 

  I've seen hundreds of players who have played all of 20 rounds come in and just complain "People shooting 55s are such cheaters! I can't shoot 55, so neither should they!" Don't act like it doesn't happen, because I know you've seen it, too. Sure, Bollox has been good for a very long time now, but I assure you that there was a time where he was sweating bullets trying to break 65. 

  To everyone: Just play the damn game and try to have fun for once in your life, you old prunes.

  If you payed closer attention, you would know what I'm talking about. If someone accuses a high caliber player of cheating, then the person being accused should come out and defend themselves, not a Deviation CC member who seems to do all their talking for them anyway. This happens all too often, i.e., a Deviation CC surrogate.

  You people post in these forums like Bollox is a god or a prima donna, especially when some of you see someone posting something about him you see unfit.

  Please, how about you play the game and spare everyone the drama?

  I tend to think allot of people are allot like me in the way they will take up for a friend before they will even take up or themselves. And yes, most of us consider Sam a friend.

  Who is your best friend WGT? If said friend were accused of cheating would you not step up to bat for him or her? With all due respect and in knowing you somewhat, I think you would and I'd commend you for it.

  Bollox is no god, he's simply a great player and a good person at heart. He's willing and does help others inside or outside of the CC and these posts are way past old. That said, I have never met him in person but if I ever knew he was in real trouble, I'd fly or drive my butt right to his house to offer help and that goes for all the people I call friends on this site.

  As far as drama, this is simply my opinion but the OP's are generally  the cause of the drama, not someone sticking up for their friend.

  Bollox and runwme have both defended themselves on this post, you should read the thread before making uneducated comments.

  ok - here we go

  I am not a deviation CC member - i am not a great player either

  I used to be very suspicious about the scores that i have seen - but the more i played i realized that they are possible.

  All that does not matter a tiny bit - the only thing that matters is that WGT is a game that everbody can find a way to enjoy

  Those who can not - sorry about them
