  Hello all, I recently fell into the life sucking black hole of WGT.

  Great game, and not so easy that you get bored with it.

  Down side is I've never played a real round of golf, so everything I'm learning has been the hard way (read I suck at it).

  Anyway, thanks for having me along, at least you know you'll never be in last place with me around!

  Welcome to hell.... I mean WGT.  I would tell you to run fast and far, but as you have intelligently likened this site to a black hole,, there would be no point to that advice.

  Therefore, I will say only this... practice, practice,practice (and then practice some more), and DO NOT get depressed when you have a bad round (or 53).

  There are plenty of good folks here who will be more than happy to share what they have learned about this game. If you listen to folks like YankeeJim, BolloxInBruges, jakestanfill, Priestess, et. al..... you'll never be disappointed by the advice.

  I too brought beer,  too bad boss at work doesn't like that very much lol.

  welcome to this CRAZY asylum we call WGT golf

  make sure you wear a helmet cause your other half

  WILL use a frying pan upside your head.

  anyway practice practice practice (on all the courses)

  see me green holler.

  It starts off like that,.....then your sneaking away from parties to play, avoiding friends, playing all the time at work!!!  You start to neglect your family, you dont leave your chair for hours by peeing in a bottle.  

  Next thing you know, your on the side of the road.........
