And so they continue.........new club, shorter approaches, easier game, less long term interest for many. Having to birdie every hole to be competitive is not what many want to play this game. We want as a true and accurate representation of golf as possible but this is degenerating into a point and click game with little to no skill needed.

Please adjust all clubs to lessen the distance and spin in particular. This will reinvigorate the challenge to many. This game was at its best when the legend tier was introduced and coming off at the end of the round with a 60-62 felt like you'd just won the real Open.

It's true that I still feel like -3 or -4 ought to be a good round and it's not :p

played 2 rounds with new driver...some drives i did notice a fair difference in dist, but all in all nt much differ from the other 1

yeah Jim....the spin is getting out of hand..if your ball has back spin on a 195 yard shot downwind, it doesn't take Einstein to work out that something's not right here

used to love punching 2nd shot st.A's hole 5 (fr pin)..but no need no more..becoming more about solving equations and doing sum's ..target golf i believe it's called

No hype at all towards this driver, if i hadn't stumbled accros this post i wouldn't have even noticed it was available.  WGT have probably stuck our old R11 in a new costume and we've all gone out and bought it just to be able to spend our built upPost credits.

People complain about all the low scores being posted, but when WGT do tamper with clubs/deviation etc, etc, people complain again because game does not play right and deviation stops them scoring well therefore WGT cant win and its a fine balance to keep EVERYONE happy.  If people score low then what the heck, its how the game has turned out, its hard not to score well now with all the added new precise clubs.  Back in the old days there was no decent clubs G10's were top of the line (or even starter ones before them) so it was tough to score well.

Back to the driver, all we're really doing is RE-BUYING the R11!.  LOL

I bought it,  only because I had bought the G20 driver and sold my old R11.   Was starting to miss the R11 again and luckily I held off buying it again since this came out.  For me, it worked out nicely,  was going to buy the R11 again anyway but ended up getting a slightly better one.

And going from the G20 driver, the extra 2 yards on the new R11s  ends up being 4 extra yards.... I know...still not much but just a little better than upgrading from the original R11.

I found that in some (limited) situations the 2 extra yards will get me where i need to be. Such as Kia 2 black tee over the bunker on drive with a slight headwind this club made it over where the other R11 I had to back off and go for a 3 wood 2nd shot. In this game sometimes a simple silly yard is the difference between a bird and a par. Just my opinion. Gl out there e1

like i said in another post on the driver, i asked icon a while back now and asked if wgt will be introducing the new r11 driver, he said he heard of no such driver..

others give me a bit of grief about how a new longer driver would be ridiculous .

i think i prob will get it as it will itch at me lol, i have the g20 and am also starting to miss the r11 like someone else has said so glad i waited a little, will the extra 2 yards matter? not sure but i bet it will be 4 or 5 :)

I hit 2 drives off the 10th hole at Bethpage, both had full backspin and were hit perfectly.

    R11s - 2mph wind from 3 o'clock. 301 yards

    R11 - 2 mph wind from 2:30.  300 yards.
