  Let there be light!

  Start: 20th September

  End: 10th November

  Captain picks to be made official on the 16th and pairs to be sent to me by pm on the 18th.  As you know it´s first alternate hole, then fourballs and then individuals.

  I´ll put all this on the front page when I can get rid of the qualifying explanations at the end of this week.

  I have to say that although my qualifying scores were absolutely "putrid", I had fun trying to make the US squad and my wishes go to a win for the 2010 Ryder Cup.  (Call me Brad Faxon, who finished 161st in qualifying).

  Only three days from the end, and every point is worth gold at this stage! Keep the scores coming in and good luck with those heart-attacking last few holes :)

  After my last round in BP, im thinking seriously in dont play anymore in WGT. I cant understand what happend with meter (horrible all round) and  a lot of bugs that happend in game continuosly after one month ago. I cant understand what can ball go 20 yards right where you aim with 10 mph left to right (hit ding in meter) or how can i do 240 yards in fly with a 3i (210 yards) with 8 mph in my face and 26 feets down. Sorry but some shots i cant understand it. Congratulations to all players that achieve their clasification and good luck to all

  Played my last round yesterday and now hope to be a captains pick. That 63 was a pretty good round. I one putted 12 holes which was pretty amazing. Played good had a good result and I am convinced that I have a chance to be a captains pick. If every round would have been as good as this one I avtually had a chance to qualify directly but didn't get it going at Kiawah the last months in those conditions. Well who cares. Just in Case this was my last appearence in this ryder cup I wish Team World Good Luck. And may the best team win

  Glad to know I'm not the only one seeing this.  Been happening to me even before last update.

  Ah BPB #8.  Something seriously wrong with that hole.  I hit hybrid 222 full backspin into a 10 wind on that hole and ball landed straight over the pin 13 feet.  Next time into 10 wind I decide to hit 3 iron no spin and ball flies 239 yd into back bunker.  That has happened twice.  Next time into same wind I hit 4 iron no spin and ball flew into the bunker as well.

  Its not just the meter folks. I got stuck in the dreaded velcro on edge of green. Two swings later never moved an inch. Had to blast it out of the velcro ruff (20-25). Thank god the one putt saved a double bogey......whew!!  And the next hole landed approach on the fringe.......The putt never went anywhere, and when the next screen downloaded, I wasnt on the fringe.....I was on the fairway....wtf!!  Anywho I guess if I could hit the greens I wouldnt be  writing my vent. There.........now I feel better......sort of. At the end of the day, the only thing people will remember is the score.......73....yikes!!

  Disaster for me too folks. So much so, I abandoned the round and withdrew. My other qualifying scores were dreadful so it doesn't really make that much difference, I was nowhere near the top 10. Not sure how withdrawing will affect my eligibility for the captain's pick but we'll see.

  I echo the sentiments of those above regarding Bethpage #8. The distances are definitely all wrong since the update!

  This was answered in another thread.  The hole is still playing old yardages.
