I thought maybe the players could help with the ready go choices next month.

                                                               MY PICKS

brutal challenge -Royal St George's  champ Tees/high winds/champ greens/200 credits

    medium challenge-Congressional  champ Tees/high winds/tourney greens/300 credts

drink a beer and relax - Bethpage champ Tees/moderate winds/champ greens 200 credit

average helper - Cabo Del Sol champ Tees/Low winds/Tourney greens/100 credits

If you don't like my picks please feel free to put up some of your own.

     happy hitting : )

I have to say the ready goes for the last month have been pretty dull. 5 St Andrews tournaments is way too many on the one course, particularly a drive and wedge course.

I'd like to see some more Whistler and Cabo at various entry stakes. A reintroduction of some Congressional and Kiawah tournaments along with some RSG, Oak and Beth.

I definitely think some 300 credits tournaments, that Priestess suggested, would be a success irrespective of course.

how about this... our goal is always to have fun mix of ready go's...

each month (someone from the community who regularly participates in them), should set up a poll and people who play them should vote.

    there should be a mix of $1, $2, $5, $10 rg's in the process...

and, I, for my part will do my best to make these happen.

    who wants to do it?

good idea Icon, but I am not sure how they would set it up for every possible option Tees/wind/greens/credits etc.

You've got some good choices already solid1,why dont you do this month?Maybe throw in some kiawah and rsg 100/200's too icon?A broader spread of courses would be nice, been mostly the same the last couple of months.

    Cheers

I'm not bothered about any of the conditions but would be nice to have a real mix of the courses. I'm sure every course we have could be somewhere on the ready go list for a different range of entry fee's. Does there really need to be a front 9, back 9 & full 18 all on the same course all for the same entry fee?

Personally i think that the ready go are getting to elitist, just for the few who can really afford it. I just play the 100 credits ones and an occasionally 200 one if its a favorite, but the 100 credit ones are playable for almost everyone, and you cant lose that much when you have an offday.

Sadly i noticed that the higher staked RG's are increasing and the base ones are diminishing and its my fear that they will disappear in time, all for the good of money for WGT.

There were times, when i had the time, i did 10 to 14 rg's a day ( nuts, i know), but now I am on 4. Lucky for me I am doing pretty well in them, so it still pays for the balls I buy and even for the new driver, which allows me to hit the ball a massive 2 yards further.

WGT: variation is good, but keep thinking of the many many players with not such a big wallet

Just mix the greens... not always tournament champ and very fast...

a brutal challenge will be (nevermind the course) high wind and slow greens...

maybe with this condition a 63 could be a top 3 score!
