I would like to ask about these 'monthly hangouts'.  I know you probably haven't finalised details yet, but how is it going to be done?  IRC chat room, another chat room, Skype chat, Skype call, etc, etc?  Also, is it going to be a free-for-all where everyone can attend?  If so, I can see that being rather a shambles with millions of questions being thrown at one poor bloke!  Might I suggest maybe limit it to 10 people.  Announce a couple of days in advance when you will have it and ask members to post if they would like to be involved.  First 10 names to reply should get invited and 3 reserves just in case any of the original 10 can't make it.  Then for future ones, none of those who attended any of the previous ones can attend.  That way you will get views from a lot more members and can collate the info from all sessions and you can prioritise what happens in the future.  In time (say after 5 or 10 sessions), those who have already attended one can be re-invited to attend another.

Great. 10 people out of the thousands that play pretty much make you hope one of those "chosen" few asks what you want. THAT would make the idea a shamble. This is not how Town Hall meetings work. Terrible idea.

Thanks, Icon was doing a great job but needed help and I recruited more WGT folks to jump in.

I have been noticing a few more WGT staff on the forums. I think it's great.

WGT, you have a good thing going here, keep it up!

Google search for 'moderated chat' and you'll find many applications and sites that can handle thousands of people in the audience and the questions are filtered by moderator(s) and presented to the speaker one at a time.

Ok, I stand corrected.  Looking forward to it.

I think they could pull it off simply by having a thread where you ask a question and it gets answered by them, maybe over a specified time slot on a regular basis. No whining or complaining about deviated crap or lost balls, etc.,  just legitimate questions like why there's 2 Tournament greens-stuff like that.
