Man alive, Chris, you're freaking me out. Do you really, really believe what you write or is this all tongue-in-cheek?

According to YJ's scoring he might not notice these random deviant shots, or put them down to his own errors, but a shot i landed within 1 yard yesterday, and again today, suddenly goes extremely longer even in headwind too (defying logic) then you can tell it has to be a deviant shot because ordinarily a 135 yard iron with full spin is about 131 yards, with added up slope too and in headwind it shouldn't really go 139 yards should it? (same shot with tailwind, YES, but no way in headwind). Should a dinged drive too react as if you had sliced it?  i understand miss ding and shot can go anywhere, but dinged shots should go as planned. if you ding your 100 yard wedge it should go 10 yards, but miss ding and yes, make it fall 5 yards short.

I dont mind added RANDOM/deviant shots, but be subtle, it would have been much more REALISTIC if that  same "deviant" shot had came up 8 yards SHORT, not defying the clubs yardage, wind and up-slope!  ALSO, dinged drives should stay on fairway if you've aimed at centre and dinged shots, SIMPLE, not react as if you had sliced. They might happen to us all, but people with high averages ignore them, but it was the difference between being around top and 20th to me.

Come on guy's the man has got a point, once again the program has bugs. It's nothing like real life, so quit saying it. If you use a club and you know what that club will do, you know how  the wind will affect  the shot , you know you can add or sub. for the elevation, you ding the shot the ball should go within 2-3 yards of where you thought. When it goes hay wire the only answer is the program read something wrong, which caused the deviation.

For some people this can get very very frustrating, because you can look past it if it happens once in a blue moon, ( nothing is perfect ) it's when it happens 2 and 3 times in the same game, and then in the next, and so on.

Thats why it bothered me, once, twice i could live with it, but it stopped me getting birdies on 4 holes. if you ding the drive with a wood on #18, you dont expect that same drive in 3mph wind to turn left into 50% rough like it was 15+ mph

The front and back was like playing with 2 different clubs/ people, thats the obvious/frustrating part.

Who knows, i might NOT have birdied the 2 short holes my drives deviated into 50% rough, but the chance to birdie them had been taken out of my own hands anyway. THIS IS WHAT WAS BUGGING ME, can't the others who slate me grasp this?  and this is what causes me to think these "freaky" outcomes, but when you witness them, what else is there and how is it fair?  maybe Joe blogs is on 59 too, but he doesn't get the 2 erratic drives i got, or shots not going over distance in headwind and he's able to get the 2 or 3 extra birdies to put him in a good position for prize.

Chris....are you familiar with the fable, "The Boy Who Cried Wolf"?  I think people might have believed him if he'd posted video of a wolf actually chasing him!

    Just a thought......

And back on topic, I'm not sure if this second Nation tourney was planned, or if it's merely a quick response from WGT to so many members missing out on the last one?  But regardless, nice work!  :)

(and just in case Chris is right, can I please request a couple of "wolf-free" rounds?  lol)

No, no, we don't ignore them! lol  I was wondering if also best player suffered those troubles and now the answer is: YES. ;)

The best deviation (as u call it) was in BB when I made a drive with the meter jumping and disappearing just when I clicked, and re-appearing far right of the ding, where the click applied! Well, the ball went wide left! No wind. lol

According to YJ's scoring, he obviously doesn't give a hoot and takes the game for what it's worth-one hell of a lot of realistic  (Gary) fun.  :-P
