According to YJ's scoring he might not notice these random deviant shots,

According to YJ's scoring, he obviously doesn't give a hoot and takes the game for what it's worth-one hell of a lot of realistic  (Gary) fun.  :-P

    LMAO................ Really <<<<<<<<< get it

Until I am as good as Bollox, 100% of my shots that are deviated/missed will be my own fault. I will never be as good as Bollox, so I dont care too much if I miss a few shots.

There are programming faults yes. But if the man can shoot as consistently as he does, he is doing something better than the rest of us. END OF STORY.

I enjoy reading your rants Chris, they help me realize my life could be far worse. I dont post in the forums weekly patting myself on the back and then cry like a teenage girl when I hit a shot that doesnt go on planned. I dont quit Tournaments ive made in the  Forums after I lose my match because of unexplained deviations. I lose like a man and tell my opponent good match. Swallow your pride already.

Your starting to make esssy look logical.

WGT - I think you need to take a look at the prize structure for WGT Nation tournaments.  You are paying out the same prizes for each tier.  When I looked (admittedly, before it had finished) there were over a hundred Legends who had entered (obviously, as I suspect most members are Legends), but there were only 11 Pro's.  That means around 30% of entries in the Pro tier won a prize, whilst less than 1% in the Legend tier.  Add to that that only a handful of Legends stand any chance of winning those 3 prizes, then it rather makes the tournament, and being a Nation member, rather pointless.

I know I can't compete with the best players on here, so there's no point in even entering.  I'm not here for the competition any more, but for having fun with a few friends.  And I know there are many more in the same position as me.  If you want more participation (which I suspect you do as it will mean more buying of balls) then you need to make the tournaments more attractive for the lesser players... and I'm not talking about the lower tiers!!!

Chris - you once posted that you had finished complaining in the forum.  How about living up to that and STOP the constant complaining.  I've never heard so much crap from someone who thinks he's one of the best on here (emphasis on thinks!).  Have you never heard of deviation?  Have you never heard of Precision?  Do you play real golf?  Do you hit every shot in real golf to 2 yards?  I didn't think so.

    BolloxInBruges:

Ok wgt,  you let us block people from our profiles.  Time to let us block the habitual whiners on the forums.

Chris, you're delusional, and apparently still don't understand how the spin/wind interact and choose to blame WGT for your lack of understanding, man the fk up bro and quit crying.

OK, would you explain how the spin/wind interact, in your oppion

One of those shots I GOT IT WRONG, i hold my hands up.  It seems either the elevation is wrong on Olympic #12, or wind doesnt effect shot.  I've just played there in challenge match, my 165 full back spin (elevation taken into account) in 13 mph headwind over-shot by 6 yards.  We got back there in extra holes, so this time it said 165 yards 12 feet elevation, so i deducted 5 yards for elevation and hit my 165 iron full spin in the 13 mph headwind and ball landed to 1 yard (my opponent overshot and cost him $)

So the 12 ft elevation is more like 22!  And puts a stop to the deviation on that hole.  And i appologise for being an a55 ..SORRY 'ALL, its worth remembering where all the false elevation changes are and keeping a note, so dont take all the facts in front of you before taking a shot as the gospel truth

But it wont explain the 2 dinged drives going to rough

My first round in the tourny went like this, par on 1, nice bogey on 2, par on 3,then a nice run of bogies on 4, 5 and 6. Messed it up on 7 with a birdie then 2 pars to end the first 9,= +3.

Birdie, birdie, birdie, birdie, birdie, compulsary bogey on 15th, par on 16th, and birdie birdie finish.-3.

I'm at the 19th now wondering what all the fuss was about and if anybody wants to join in the drinks are on me. LOL.

The fuss was about not being able to birdie at least 2 holes due to random strange shots and not being in the driving seat for a chance to win $100 for first time.  You know one of the same 3 or 4 names are going to come up with 56 or better so you need all the birdies you can get, but for at least 2 to go down the pan without even getting a fair attempt at 1, that's the fuss....sorry
