What's happened to my game ?

  Hi folks - I'm totally baffled and hoping someone can help me.

  Joined WGT about five months ago and although still a Hack, am now at level 47.

  Only play Blitz and CTTH Tournaments (which explains my current Hack status) and due to the frustrations caused by "quitters", prefer to play Blitz challenge matches for 25 - 50 credits per game, as players will usually stay till the end.

  I've progressed through the club sets:- EZ Swing / Starter Plus / Tour Starter and also experimented with various balls:- B-ES / G1-S / G12-S.

  However, I recently decided to upgrade my clubs again and chose the Ping Rapture V2 full set as they looked good regarding forgiveness and a slow meter speed. Guess what, I can't do a thing with them !

  Same computer with loop off, same mouse, same courses, same balls, same level of concentration etc. etc. The yardages never seem to make sense and I'm mostly hooking or slicing my shots. Just can't fathom it out and I'm starting to become very frustrated with my game !

  I can actually submit a better score using my Tour Starter set with basic balls than I can using my Raptures and bought balls.

  And there was me thinking that the game should become easier as I spent my credits and progressed up the levels !

  Any suggestions please ?

  Did you clear your Flash cache? Not the browser cache, the Flash cache. Whenever you buy and equip new stuff you need to clear out the old equipment files and load up the new ones. Clearing that cache does this.  :-)

  If you are otherwise hitting the "ding" with the same consistency then I would hazard a guess that the wind is getting to you.  With clubs/balls that provide more spin the wind will have more of an affect on the shot/ball flight than using the starter sets/balls.

  Raptures are a great club for your level. You said you use the same balls, in that case, you just have to get used to using the raptures with those balls. It will come to you, stick with it.

  I don't make the rules of the game up - WGT do.

  Guys read the forum!!!!!

   

  If you want an easy tool to clear everything including your Flash Cache use CCleaner .

  Professionals recommend this tool because its as easy as pie to use . Its user friendly, by far the easiest third party system tool out there.

   

  I noticed there are alot of people that come to these forums with a problem and

  A. Dont use the search feature to find the help that has been posted a Katrillion times. or

  B.They blame the game and WGT for their issues.

  Im sorry if I come off as arrogant because I shouldn't.

  Helpful people all over WGT and many thanks to those folks who have the patience to help others.

  Hope your issue is fixed but remember the best way to avoid computer issues are by reading forums and self teaching yourselves on what not to do.

   

  Always back up your system every month at the least and always backup your registry before and after you make software changes. The system restore option Microsoft gives us is crap.

   

  CCleaner will back up your registry every time you use it . Give it a try.
