Not done it yet Kahuna but I'll move your availability once I get a few spare minutes to go through the tour spreadsheets.

    Player no. %’s

A little one for the stats fans out there to see which WGT average group you sit within on the WGF Tour. With 90 players out of the 203 averaging under 60, it's surely going to be fearsomely competitive through the duration of the tour.

I'll be the first to be a confidence boosting bit of fodder ;-)  Everything about my play depends on my 40 year-old hand-eye coordination.

Thanks to the recent replies. We're only just over a week away from the tour starting so if anyone's uncertain of rules or have questions about how the tour will be run, please just put up a post in this thread.

We're currently finalising the details of each tournaments prize pool so this information should go live either today or tomorrow.

Just made a quick update to Clause 34 & 36 of the rules of the tour. These relate to the penalties for incorrect posting of scorecards and green shots. Please be aware of them as there will be no exceptions made during the tour for players not recording their scores properly.

The WGF Tour Standings document now has two extra columns which show the current warning level that each individual has for incorrect posting of scores.

Hopefully these won't have to be used during the tour but I'd prefer to have a clear cut system that no-one can have complaints about if they are affected at some point.

    Prizes

Given the credit pool available, we've worked out a general structure to work from. This maybe tweaked over the next week but it'll certainly be close to what's outlined below. Winnings will be pooled over a period of 3-4 tournaments and will then be paid out cumulatively at a stated time chosen by the management team.

Prizes can be gifted as balls / equipment / avatars or as a MPC loss. Tour management's preference is for balls to be gifted but we appreciate where prizes winnings are lower than the cost of the winning player's usual ball of choice, they may not wish to use this option. Where a player doesn't want to take their prize pool at a gifting stage, they simply need contact a member of Tour Management and then their prize pool will continue forward to the next gifting stage.

The tournament winner and runner(s) up will not be able to win additional prizes for best round, eagles or birdies. They are able to win the HIO / DE prize. This will ensure a fairer split of prizes during the tour.

    List of sponsors

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Standard tournaments (x7 tournaments)

    Tournament Winner = 1350 credits

Runner up = 900 credits (to be divided for ties)

Best finish by a non-legend = 250 credits (to be divided for ties)

Best Round (R1-R3) = 250 credits per round (to be divided for ties)

Most eagles = 250 credits (to be divided for ties)

Most birdies on P3's = 250 credits (to be divided for ties)

Hole in one/Double Eagle = 250 credits (to be carried over and pooled cumulatively for the next event if not won)

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Majors & Tour Playoff (x5 tournaments)

    Tournament Winner = 1500 credits

Runner up = 1050 credits (to be divided for ties)

Best finish by a non-legend = 350 credits (to be divided for ties)

Best Round (R1-R3) = 350 credits per round (to be divided for ties)

Most eagles = 350 credits (to be divided for ties)

Most birdies on P3's = 350 credits (to be divided for ties)

Hole in one/Double Eagle = 350 credits (to be carried over and pooled cumulatively for the next event if not won)

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Matchplay Tournament (x1 Tournament)

    Tournament Winner = 2500 credits

    Runner up = 1500 credits

    Semi-finalists (x2) = 500 credits

    Quarter finalist (x4) = 250 credits

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Tour Finals will have a prize pool of 7500 credits and the WGF 2012 Tour Championship prize fund sits at 20000 credits. These are yet to be decided but due to the timeframes involved will be discussed later in the season. If anyone has any questions on the prizes, please just ask.
