Perhaps you should look elsewhere to dispense your wisdom Mr Piz. As a previous entrant to the "64" comp I hopefully speak from experience on this, at no point did any of the competitors raise any concerns over the validity or otherwise of any competitor.

Bearing in mind they were ok with it, I suggest that it poses no problem for them, neither should it to you.

This is a Community organised tournament run for fun and competition, people who put the time and effort into these things deserve plaudits for their time and effort, not petty criticism from third parties.

In other words........move on....nothing to see here.

I meant no harm. I was intending to enter your tournament as it sounded like a great idea as I said in a previous post on this thread. I was just seeking verification of the rules. Have a good day people.

ok no harm done. but please let me reiterate, that all these players do meet the requirements. if you look at the 64 tourney, every player playing is above a 64 avg.

if you look at this tourney every one is above a 60avg. except 1 player who i know and is 0.2 something off it. and he even explains that (no need to) in his first post.

Can I just say, you may notice that I did not post a request to play. I am in by invitation from Rosey. Even before the last tournament had finished I sent her a message saying what a great idea it was, and wished I had a 64+ average. I am stuck in no-mans land; not good enough to play with the big boys, but too low an average to play in the 64 tournament. I mentioned about setting up a tournament for 60-64 average players (including 59.5 which rounds up to 60!) and maybe incorporate a super-final between the two tournaments if she was interested. Rosey said she was already thinking about a 60-64 tournament , to possibly be run by Fuzzygazz, and said that I would be allowed to play, hence why you didn't see a post from me requesting to play.

Now, lets get the entries in and get the games going. The donation prize for the 64 tourney stands, and I will be giving some other prizes once I've spoken to Rosey.

Avg #'s are just that ....numbers.....it matters not what the avg's are to me, I've been given the opportunity to play in a well run tournament, and meet and make new friends...

I welcome the chance to play against top competition and maybe learn a thing or two...it surely couldnt hurt my game......

I was thrilled to see that some of the top legends here had chosen to associate themselves with the previous 64avg tournament, by choosing the courses we would play

They added a touch of class to a class tournament !!!.....Thx!!

I'm under no illusion that i'm one of the greats here, but hopefully as I get better and lower my avg here, that i will always be welcome in this tournament
