MainzMan:My biggest gripe with my caddie, apart from him never buying the drinks, is when I have, for example, a 17 foot downhill putt with a tricky break. He gives me the 25' putter scale, fair enough but because of the downhill run I switch to the 15' one. When the break is hard to read I change to pitch to get a better idea of how the ball is going to roll. So now I know where to aim, switch back to putt and blast the ball past because changing back to putter has given me the 25' scale again. I know it's my own fault and it's only a problem if you change putter scales but it's incredibly annoying when a birdie chance turns into a 12' putt to save par.
Now that what i'm talikng about, but it happens to me when i need the first avatar movement on 25 foot scale, i change to chip, back to putter and dont understand why the 25 foot scale's meter is running so slowly from the first 10 foot avatar movement. PROBABLY because when changing back to putter from chip it selected the 15 foot scale, and that 10 foot is actually 5 foot! Nothing worse than seeing that birdie putt come up 5 foot short. One things for sure, it has forced me to take a few seconds longer at putting to make sure caddy's house is in order
