  Absolutely not. Staging a qualifying tourny is the way to go. I'm just dissapointed and unpleasantly surprised that ,despite the fact that  i was one of the first to react to the original post (challange) and my (unmodest) assumption i have the qualifications to be able to at least try and qualify, i'm not invited/selected to do so.

  No harm done, i'll have a little cry, donate an extra couple of hundred bucks (Euro's if they are still around) to my shrink and try to pick up my life again.

  GL and give'm hell!!

  None of my business & probably too late but, why only 16 players to play Deviations CC when Deviations have at least 24 players with 50's avg??

  His average isn't as sexy as some other people, but I can attest that's one tough mutha in high pressure matches!

  LBC speaks the truth. I also had the privildge of playing chop in a 2k Hustle MP and it took one of my better games and came down to a putt on 18 to decide the game. Fierce competitor!

  Oh and hard to ignore this as well :

  chop948 defeated BolloxInBruges in a 18 hole match play game on BETHPAGE BLACK.

  Hi LOL .. to answer your question .. there are a few reasons I limited the challenge to 16.

  1)  It's hard to get everyone to commit to the time necessary to do any of the community tournaments.  Setting up matches is tuff when folks work, have families etc.   That is why we are only doing 1 on 1 matches --- coordinating 4 players schedules is a chore. Also we  only have a small club so to get 16 of our best to agree is not a bad percentage.   Plus , we all know that this convoluted WGT average is not the only measure of how well a player does.

  2)  I thought if we went deeper into our lineup ... we would be even more disadvantaged than we are now.       Remember, Mbag and Godel are pulling together a team of top top top players.     Top to bottom you'll have #1 seed type players ...  Any more than 16 on a team ... our team deteriorates to .... well ... ME !!!

  Remember too .. even though there are 16 on each team --- only 12 will play in each round --- so the captains will have to juggle their lineups.

  That said ... i'm elated that the Godel and MBag have pulled the community together with such a positive vibe to field a team.       This really is going to be exciting.

  I understand that all players here could win the best of the best in one game, incluedes, i lost a MP game with Lou! (lol, joking) but for this, he isnt better than me, or, if i win, i m not better than him. Seems that , they´re only trying to complete the "best" team that they believe could beat Deviations CC.

  Why they should invite only players in 50´s avg? Why not in 60´s or 70´s? They wrpte conditions to play this event in first post and.. if you want to play it, and they invite you, its fine, if not, it will be more comps to play, or you could create other comp.

  Never they can do all perfect, only its their way to do it
