No but clubs precision have gone from 4.5 to 1, and i even had 2 par putts from 4 FEET fly left as if i had pressed an inch early, +2 for front, (even the easy 7th, i played safe with a wood, and the 14mph wind had no effect and landed me in 50% rough), yet my clubs MIRACILOUSLY came back to normal for back and i birdied all holes except 1.  Its not your own skill you have to deal with, its whether WGT deal you a "winning" hand deviation wise.

According to a CC mate on-the-spot comment, they are quite iced.

I'll be more precise tomorrow. :)

2 par putts from 4 yards is 12 feet right?  Absolutely possible to just miss them.  Reading some of your posts re: what happens during your rounds, I almost wish it would happen to me just once so I could believe it.

i meant feet (and every time it does happen, when you save replay, you never get reverse view, only an angle from miles away.  When you miss a putt through a miss ding or miss read you will always see reverse view, but if its a strange act of deviation, or break not effecting you never seem to get a reverse view)

I have to agree there. The saved replays are never what you saw replaying for yourself during the round. I can't understand that.

Were the missed par putts on side hills? I've missed quite a few 4-6 footers at Olympic mis-reading the break always on the low side. I hate to admit this but I missed a 1.6 foot par putt by being sloppy and not accounting for the break from that close.

Watch out for those TREES!!  Tree on 9 (double bogey), tree on 10 (Withdrawal)... good luck to those that have qualified!!

Come on Chris; yes you can get the occasional odd dev but as you've been told numerous times, there is no WGT Mafia squad purposely clicking the "hurt Chris" button. You're a fine player and you can shoot great rounds so why the constant tirade? As always the key is if something goes wrong, how do you respond to the situation you find yourself in. I can guarantee you that during the US Open, every single one of the players in the field will get weird shots where the result isn't as expected.

I had a 19mph straight headwind on 1; I barely could clear the fairway bunkers let alone reach the green...on 7, I had a 14mph crosswind which moved a mile (way more than usual) from under 50yrds leaving a nasty, breaking 13ft putt on the easiest hole on the course. Shall I turn around and say that WGT had it in for me from the off? No; I played c*ap on the F9 and deservedly scored badly as when I look back with hindsight, I can see the errors I made on each hole.

Consistency in handling the rough shots is the key to being a winner or an also-ran. The guys who take out the wins consistently are simply the best at recovering from their mistakes, weird shots and holes where birdie is practically impossible.

PS: the pics just a wind-up; no malice intended ;)

:-)  That's amusing Jim... I went on vacation for 2 weeks and it's good to see some things never change.... I guess Chris hasn't consulted his physician yet for his Blame WGT Syndrome...
