There is a transscript of the meeting in the forum - search for it to reveal the "secret".

I, too, have seen the messages (by Icon, too, I think) that there will be ameliorations for CCs and their owners. As a (foreign) customer I can't promise any details, but tier-related and multi-round tourneys were subjects of these discussions.

Dunno what will be the outcome.

    piztaker:

There are to be several changes to how Country Clubs work being implemented very soon.

A multi-round option would be very cool. I think owners have been patient long enough. BRING ON THE UPDATES!!!! Just kidding . Take your time but make it quick okay, updater personnel. Patiently yours,edge...

    Agree with you 100Plus.

We do the same when we create special tournements, Only specific players are subject to win prizes or to take score onto consideration even if other players play in the tourney and it work well.

But we cannot create special tournements all the time. It is the regular tourney  created in the CC  that become a problem. Because even if you try everything as for warnings there is always a glitch that can occur & it create non needed frustations for players. :(

I hear ya RemBeau same thing happens in mine , i started score av tounament, impossible to police, i had players going into everyone..unfortunately there are always the DISLEXIC fools who cant go by the rules..i had to scrap that format after 2 weeks...what i suggest you could to is to put a players report page in your forum..give notice that continued infringements means the boot....

    Good point Brad61.

WGT Suggestion:  To offer Dislexic Ultra Boost

    This might help . lol

    ------

But can you provide more inputs  on how you manage in regards to the  player report page.  This could be very helpful  for all CC owners.

Is it only the CC owner that put information in ? I presume that there is a intended post for this in your forum.

Is it all members that can do so & is there any typical reactions from players at fault?.

    Thanks

We first started that "restricted" Tier tournament idea about a month ago at our CC, restricted to Amateurs, Pros and Tour Pros, this was in the title of the tournament as well as the description (not that anyone seems to read those).  Ofc, a Master entered and won it.

I thought this was unfair, I mean, it stated the limit in the title of the tournament, as I stated above, so I implemented a rule that if any CC member enters a tourney that is tier-restricted, that they will be "suspended" from entering CC tournaments for a period (1 month), possibly reducing this on appeal.  Second tournament, and AGAIN a Master (diff. one this time) entered, and subsequently won it.  So I issued him with a suspension notice (New rule was posted in CC forum before this, so no excuse their), which he appealed, and I reduced his "suspension" to 2 weeks.  He has so far been adhering to this, I am glad to say.

Yet another Master that did this in yet another tournament, and I issued him with the same warning and suspension notice, he quit the CC in a huff.  Whatever, I am not forcing anyone to stay a member if they don't want to.  BTW, ignoring said suspension, would result in revocation of CC membership.

I honestly don't think this is too harsh, and the idea is that it makes people pay attention to the tournament title, and hopefully read the tournament descriptions as well, to be sure!

Don't know anything about running a cc so this suggestion might be off the wall.

Can you send invitations to those only in their tiers?Maybe they could have a code with their handle to enter.
