    This seem very interesting Happpyman123.

See that you run your CC seriously & this is a excellent exemple for the community.

Is your web site only open to your CC members only ?

    Question to WGT.

When you suspend an account because a player have multiple accounts. Why it is not deleted in WGT.

Is there a way for us CC owners to be made aware of situation like this ?

    MaSeVierBal:

We first started that "restricted" Tier tournament idea about a month ago at our CC, restricted to Amateurs, Pros and Tour Pros, this was in the title of the tournament as well as the description (not that anyone seems to read those).  Ofc, a Master entered and won it.

I thought this was unfair, I mean, it stated the limit in the title of the tournament, as I stated above, so I implemented a rule that if any CC member enters a tourney that is tier-restricted, that they will be "suspended" from entering CC tournaments for a period (1 month), possibly reducing this on appeal.  Second tournament, and AGAIN a Master (diff. one this time) entered, and subsequently won it.  So I issued him with a suspension notice (New rule was posted in CC forum before this, so no excuse their), which he appealed, and I reduced his "suspension" to 2 weeks.  He has so far been adhering to this, I am glad to say.

Yet another Master that did this in yet another tournament, and I issued him with the same warning and suspension notice, he quit the CC in a huff.  Whatever, I am not forcing anyone to stay a member if they don't want to.  BTW, ignoring said suspension, would result in revocation of CC membership.

I honestly don't think this is too harsh, and the idea is that it makes people pay attention to the tournament title, and hopefully read the tournament descriptions as well, to be sure!

I am a CC owner and that rule is straight away awesome. But there is that 1 minor flaw. For example I was a TP played a tourney ,finished shot really low. Then I moved right into another Tourney afterward. Not even realizing I had graduated to a Master I finished the round . Tehn I went to my Profile page and had a couple of nice people congratulating me on making Master. Had they not done that I wouldnt have known I made Master.

My point here is that there are always exceptions to any rules especially when it is all in fun.

But your rule is a good rule for the most part and a much needed rule to make it fair to lower tiered players indeed.

Don't know anything about running a cc so this suggestion might be off the wall.

Can you send invitations to those only in their tiers?Maybe they could have a code with their handle to enter.

You could if you have an offsite forum or website.

    Thanks all for your comments.

But the best & simple option is just to have the tool coming from WGT for us to limit certains tiers players to play together  in regular tourney of each CC .

Hopefully WGT will come up with this option VERY SOON. They have been aware of this for a long time.

We have had it happen in the past and it will continue to happen where the wrong tier enters and wins.

Club Owners need to MONITOR these tourneys closely and look at who is entering and leading.

I usually send a message to the ineligible member telling them they are disqualified, and if they retain their lead, to send a message of apology to the rightful winner as they have taken a Trophy from them.

If it was a premium tourney (Credits to enter) I ask them to gift the rightful winner balls or their choice from the pro shop as compensation.

I avoid setting them up as premiums.

I do set them up for Sleeves of balls or credits for the pro shop. in this case I am able to pay the rightful winner accordingly.
