    :-)

personally I would think that if the lower tiers have a chance at a trophy , they;d be more active in tournaments locally and worldly .  I set up tier specific tourneys also but we cant always be there to moniter them.

Wouldn't it make sense that if the lower tiers have a chance to win, then they'd be more apt to use real money to upgrade equipment as opposed to using whatever credits they have to enter a tier specific tourney only to be be sniped by a higher tiered member.

Agreed, honesty and integrity  would be a good rule of thumb to go by and in most cases does work but it doesnt always happen that way. And by the time we as owners catch it , the damage is already done.

This causes , in my case as I dont want to speak personally for the other owners, to not only be club security but also try and contain damage usually out of my own pocket in which the rightful winner didn't get their credits due them and ending up with maybe a sleeve of balls, and in some cases may have a potentially decent person say the game isn't worth it and become comatose.

Please WGT  give the club owners more control of what takes place within the club.

    Greg

I just joined WGT and IPCC a few days ago. I was excited to enter my first amature/hack tournament, only to find three pros and one tour pro ahead of me on the leaderboard..kind of takes the fun out of the tournament, but at the same time drives me to improve. I was just assuming these players were at amature/hack level when they entered the tournament.

go to their profile page & click on '' score history '' and you will know what tier they were at when they entered the tourney. Then , up to you to report it to your CC owner if he ( or she ) doesn't know and a violation has indeed occured.

    RemBeau:

    Hi WGT

In our CC we have multiple tournaments created, average 15 to 20 per week.  Some of them are intended for specifics Tiers  as other CC would do also.

We did everything to be clear when a tourney is created: For Tour Pro & pro Only. TM and Legends Only. Etc... We send many advises in our Forum to be careful and we did see improvements over time. But there is always players with the wrong tier that sign up & play the game.  This create frustration on & on for CC Club owners to do the police and members aswell.

What is sad, is that it is the Low Tiers players that most of the time that are impacted with this situation.  Regular WGT tourney have this option mainly to be Fairplay and create interest for each different tiers.

PLEASE WGT: WE NEED THIS OPTION ASAP , WE WANT TO BE FAIRPLAY WITH OUR MEMBERS AS YOU DO  & HAVE FUN.

    :)

Here is one thing a lot of you seem to overlook. In CC tourneys even though they are not tiered every player plays from his own tiers tee and unless it is a tourney set up with the advanced options he plays with his own wind set and green speed. And a high level amateur or pro with better clubs has a big advantage over many legends due to the fact they are playing driver wedge to about 90 to 95 % of the par 4's where the legends are having to play driver mid irons and even long irons and  3 wood to the same holes. And putting on standard or fast greens when the legends are putting on legend tournament greens. True a truly skilled legend will always have an advantage but most of us are not truly skilled.  But that being said, I never play in a CC tourney that the creator of the tourney said that it was for a certain tier. I just thought that it was worth mentioning.

there are SO many issues with CC's that need fixing or made better, but having someone do that work does not put any cash into the wgt coffers, so they are all so far down the list, dont hold your breath.

Right for the tees, wrong for wind and green speed: These are uniform for all players in a CC tournament.

The only advantage of "advanced options" is that we can choose the conditions instead of accepting "random".

Possible, but in my CC it's always the Legends who win.

    Not true unfortunately, see above.

OTOH, some Legends in my CC refuse to play on slow or standard greens - they aren't used to it any more.

    hello

This is very true but won't help the cause...
