You're debating?  You must really hate rain, eh?  ;)

There'd be no question in my mind.  I've stood 10 hours in the rain to catch a fish.  To watch an Open?  Like I said....no question at all.

Good rain gear.  Wool sweater.  Flask of good Scotch.  Enjoy the golf.  :)

Hello, ive been to the Open twice, at troon and at muirfield, at muirfield on the saturday it rained non stop and after so long you forget you are wet and just go along with it, at troon on the saturday it was glorious sunshine and a superb day out.

go to it m8 and enjoy, watching pro's play in the biggest and most sough after golf trophy in the world is a joy, just a pity the  the plyr i followed mostly(montgomery) couldnt do the damage, altho the 5 or so student girls who followed him everywhere im sure he got a few birdies in the end..

    best regards

I watched Tony Jacklin win the Open at Lytham. Yes, I'm that old.
