Really 3 years ago? I have a laptop I got 4 years ago with intel duo core, and running firefox latest and have rare meter issues with windows 7 ultimate 64 bit with 4 gigs crucial gaming ram. I used to use google chrome, but chrome is very nasty with this game. I really don't know why people say chrome is better. My laptop also has geforce 8800m gts video card. So that helps me a bit there too.
