A good % of the time in real golf,  if you draw the ball, it seems that most people get more yardage out of it.

If you draw the ball on this game, do you think you might get more yardage out of it?

As an example, lets say you have just a straight left wind, at 14mph, wind heading left.  Instead of hitting into the wind and letting the wind draw it back, what if you aimed even further right, and used a draw to hit with the wind but enough right that you still can draw the ball, no matter what course.

Wonder if anyone has tried this out!, Not so much the draw, but drawing with the wind, instead of hitting into the wind first. I dunno i hope what im saying makes sense, lol

    Tks

Example of what you are talking are Bethpage 2. You is have to draw ball off tee.

If you are hit with wind it go more far than if you is hit against wind.

Next time you are have shot you talk of why is you not experiment and seeing what is happen, that are how you is to learn

When you draw and fade on WGT you lose a little distance because you are mis-hitting the ball; and you don't get the same spin effect as in golf, so the ball doesn't run when you hit a draw. But if you are curving the ball with the wind you gain distance back from the wind -- and in the direction of the hole (hopefully)

There isn't the capability of a true draw and fade here, but you can pull or push by dinging early or late, albeit at the expense of distance.

I use it regularly on the hole on the back nine of Olympic. I forget what number hole but it curls left and just keeps turning around the trees. I aim far right then hit before the ding to draw the ball round. Some times I lose distance and some times I gain. But it keeps me on the fairway and seems to work every time. Warning though. It is a shot you need to practice before using in any game. Until I got it right I hit into the trees quite a few times. he he:~))

I hit huge off ding shots off the tee with the driver every time, and certainly you get more distance with this method hitting with the wind, but more control hitting against the wind.

If you try this method, it's important to remember that spin can have a large effect on how much draw or fade you get.

Theres no draw/fade in this game... missing the ding result in a pull/push shot...

I would say that if you hit the just right of the bar, it imitates a fade in real life and left a draw. if you hit a draw when the wind is left to right you gain extra yards and likewise for a wind right to left. hit just right of the bar and you do gain extra distance. In my opinion

Im replying to my own post, reverse those left to rights

left to right wind - hit right of the bar - a fade

right to left wind - hit left of the bar - a draw

I find that you gain extra distance
