    Astondb5:

Im replying to my own post, reverse those left to rights

left to right wind - hit right of the bar - a fade

right to left wind - hit left of the bar - a draw

I find that you gain extra distance

Might want to check that distance thing again there sport. Been here 2 years and never gained any distance on a push or a pull...just sayin

There isn't the capability of a true draw and fade here, but you can pull or push by dinging early or late, albeit at the expense of distance.

'Pull' or 'push' implies that the ball comes off the club-face in a straight line to the left or right. I can assure you that by hitting early or late enough that you can generate a curved ball flight in the desired direction. It may appear to be straight in the normal view, but if you view the shot from a reverse camera view, it is clearly a draw (or even a hook) if left, or a fade / slice if right.

    Here's the proof: http://www.wgt.com/gameclient.aspx?view=showReplay&JSON=%257B%2522GUID%2522%253A%2522d1ddec3c-86ba-4265-99f6-a094001b8897%2522%252C%2522Brand%2522%253A%2522%2522%257D

Very pretty shot, and yes it does appear to draw....

Here's the set-up for BPB's #2 tee shot. As mentioned by others above, for different situations, one might want to vary the amount of spin applied, and how far 'off-DING' one needs to hit!

If wind arrow is pointing from left to right, aim at the 'L tree'; if wind arrow is pointing at you (head wind) or away from you, (tail wind) aim at 'N tree'; if wind arrow is pointing from right to left, aim at the 'R tree'. If cross-wind strength is low (<5mph) you won't need the full off-sets from the center 'N tree'.

    Set spin to full back.

'Pull the trigger' in the region shown below. Result will be a shot that draws sharply left around the left-hand trees, as shown in the replay I linked in my first post.

Not all the times results like that... watch this, doing the same the ball goes straight to the trees...

For a tail wind, you aimed at what I call 'L tree', Dario. I would have aimed for 'N tree' (further right) - still ended in fairway though!

As noted before, when viewing shot from tee box it may appear to be going straight into the trees on the left, however if viewed  from the back of green reverse view camera it is easy to see the draw action and curved R-L flight.

Agreed SGT, and never saw any draw or fade either!

There is no question that you can hit a fade or draw, not just a push or pull. I have curved the ball around trees hundreds of times, when a push or pull would have put me in the woods. (I disagree with the above illustration; you have to pull the trigger well into the darker blue section of the meter)
