There is no question that you can hit a fade or draw, not just a push or pull. I have curved the ball around trees hundreds of times, when a push or pull would have put me in the woods. (I disagree with the above illustration; you have to pull the trigger well into the darker blue section of the meter)

    ^this.....

Same thing, the ball goes straight off to the right or left then maybe make a slight curve, or maybe not, in a draw the ball goes where you are aiming and then start to curve...

I bend it like Beckham all the time hitting the marks I noted. Finding the proper aiming point for the shot takes a little practice but it's not that hard.

If you gets a pull effect hitting the light blue doing it in the dark gets even worse...

As a relative new player, the fade/draw option was something I was looking for,I thought maybe the option to move the hit spot laterally would become available at the higher levels. Its a shame it has not been incorporated into the game physics.

What about the reality of the ball flying slightly right when hitting below your feet, is that effect used in the game?

Thankfully, there are no effects of uneven lies.

Until shortly, I appreciated the absence of fade/draw and their bigger brothers hook and slice. It's difficult enough on the real field to hit it straight.

Right now, encouraged by another thread, I've started to bend the balls at OLY - comes handy at #5 but also at ##1 and 10 :o)

You CAN bend the ball path.  Better get your aim adjustment right for the amount you ding left or right, though.

Comes in handy when your tee moves back and interfering trees suddenly appear.

Incidentally, the ball characteristics influence the amount.  Be forewarned.

Would love to see here on WGT lies effects, dont know if you know shotonline, there you got uphill/downhill and sideways lies modifying trayectory and distance, its not too hard to control as you think... and REAL draw/fade effects... Its a shame that a game like wgt with so much graphic realism dont got this things and a "cartoon" game like shotonline got all the realism...
