    I have to putt multiple times per hole on every hole, resulting in no birdies, only some pars, and tons of bogeys and double bogeys.

    Putting may become easier if you see that it's pure math:

    A certain length = x meter %

    A certain elevation = y feet +/- of length => change meter %

    This was the easy part - ev1 learned the rule of three in school. I use a ruler (paper putting pal) and a table of distances for that purpose.

    A certain sideslope @ a certain length & @ a certain elevation = some deviation from the straight line. This is the harder "practice" part but for that, too, there is a complicated formula available (G0LD's putting formula).

    If you say math is hard, yes, then putting is hard.

    Are putts still being counted as hits on the ball?!? Just asking, I mean if hits count... I myself have all types of balls, ie callys, nikes, ect. But i find myself using the starter ball, for their more smoother ride on the meter. But i'd still mind if i'd have to take an extra hit on it, even though they don't wear out. My first question stands... Are putts still being counted as hits on the ball?

    Get to level 28 fast so you can get that iwi Anser putter

    just to start, and the frustration starts to go away.  The

    Balance and Forgiveness stats on the putters cannot

    be underestimated when putting on WGT.  The

    Redwood ZB at level 44 is the next upgrade as soon

    as you can get to level 44.  The first putter costs $4

    and the Redwood costs $6.  Worth every penny of

    that $10 investment.  Also consider new wedges as well.

    Consider a better driver ASAP.

    Topcat, last information I have is that putts do not count against ball life except in CTTHs (and Blitz, I'd assume). The latter is said to be corrected, at least for the Nation putting contest.

    BB, IMO the Starter putter is the best club in that bag, I'd well wait until I can get the one forever.

    Wedges are more important, I'd get two of the Pings or higher leveled brands.
