not the place to ask but could the option to remove the flag on chips from the fringe be added hit many flags that missed and without flag could have counted with ball traveling at putting speed
You can remove the flag before you chip, just click the flag icon top right corner.
About chipping/flopping/pitching/full shot from green - I certainly think it should be possible. As many have said, you can end up in a position where it is not even theoretically possible to reach the hole with the putter and, since it is allowed IRL, you should be able to use whatever club and shot you like.
I also agree that if WGT keeps it as is now, impossible, they should not let me choose my wedge and attempt a flop or whatever I might wanna try.
