    grindalways:

I was using comodo dragon last-night and it worked fine, now my meter is stuttering on every shot.

Are you using Comodo for strictly game play?

If not then do so and use another browser for other things including manuvering around in WGT.

Shut down wgt in whatever browser you are using when playing a game. Turn off invites in  Menu/audio

Friends status changes can cause meter skips

In this forum there is a topic called "Bug" go there and read meter issues in that folder. It has been posted several times by me and a few others on how to revert your FLASH program to the previous version depending on which Browser you are trying to play in.

    YEAH YEAH YEAH,

FLASH......wtfe.... the game should have NEVER been coded in flash in the first place,

but that is a whole different issue...

    I don't and never have had a meter issue...(CPU clocked to 3.8...6gigs of ram ..and 2x ati 4890s in crossfire...vista 64)

In the past, most meter issues I have helped my WGT friends with have been caused by

    1)  HEAT....laptops

    2)  2gigs of ram or less...cheap and easy upgrade for laptop users and desktop users

    3) CPU running @ less than 2 gigs

    4) GUI on board CHIP (vs dedicated video card w@least 1 g of ram on card)

Now the new issue since the upgrade......WGTIcon (for a change) COULD be correct about FLASH being the issue THIS TIME.

Two WGT friends I have helped in the past 2 days (that DO NOT have any of the above mentioned 4 "issues")

Have FIXED the meter issue by doing a system restore to the day before the last upgrade.

BOTH of these WGT friends had the latest version of flash (switching to the previous version of flash DID NOT help)

Hope this helps and works for you guys

    Chrome uses please do this

Type about:plugins in the chrome address bar. Hit enter.  Click details in upper right corner.  There you will see the current version (not working), & the version they just updated from (was working). Disable new--vers 11,3,300,270 & enable old--vers 11,3,300,268.  As stated, it did clear my issues of meter & such; hope it does the same for you guys. And while you're taking care of flash, set it to ask you first instead of auto updating. This way you should have a working version regardless of what they do. At least then you decide when it gets updated.

I did this and it worked but I think FLASH had another update today ( 10/ 8 / 12 ) and I can't find where to disable version 11.3.300.270. Mine only shows the 2 latest versions ( 11.4.31.110 and 11.4.402.287 ).

Courtney's tip from August(!) will hopefully work now if you transfer it to the version nos. at hand.

In Chrome, deactivate all but one version. Except for any "pepper" version (look into the vast text info) which should be deactivated anyway, keep the highest version no.
