    lonnieskinner:

The guys stats are as follows: 1.96 putts per hole,50 gir, makes 24 percent of first putts, 18 percent of putts are 3 putts,he has a loosing record in match play, and has earned a whopping 1.50 in earnings. What kind of rat do you smell?

Playing for 4 years,Pro lvl 58 and still cant figure it out.For 4 years with  all of the help in the forums, and still no clue. 47 previous posts in forums and none for help. I just don`t believe that anybody playing this game, can be that slow.I don`t care what the stats say, because many of you get fleeced out of credits, because of the so called stats.Yeah, he looks harmless now, but when he rips you a new one, and jacks you for credits. Don`t come crying about how you got taken by a Pro lvl 62.In a little bit, he will have an arsenal in his bag, hitting off of the easier tees, and the nightmare will begin.Another sandbagger is about to be created, and he will have victims.Yeah he may have a loosing record for now, but it wont be for long. Just remember these words. I TOLD YOU SO. Happy Swinging

    I don't think that's the case.

In this instance 4 years and low-ish level, means he really doesn't play much.

I take it you're insinuating something else...which I'll leave for you to say.

Yeah, just when you thought it was safe to come out and play, you found out that it`s 2 of us. Me, I`m the evil twin, the black sheep if you will. I`ll be creeping around the forums, helping some players when I can and seeking advice as well. I like it here and I have fun as well. Not to worry though, as I`m a casual player, and I dont play for credits. Now as for my twin, he will beat any Legend, any time, with one hand tied behind his back ,blind folded and spot you 9 holes at -9 under par and play you 18 holes.Sic em lonnie. Happy Swinging. The MAD GOLFER

    thanks for the info

I see you have the Rossa putter.... good choice.  That was the first putter I got. I've tried em all, but the old Rossa is the best for me.  The Ghost's are very good putters,  but hard to get the hang of it.

    L59 G20 Irons was a good suggestion...cost 2100 credits though.

First club i got was a Driver(rapture).  You need a good Driver because the closer to the pin you are the better.

Second club i got was a Putter (Rossa).  Putting is the key to all good games. At the moment the worst part of me game is my approach shots (I'm working on that...lol) , but I make up for it on the greens.

Then the Irons and wedges slowly followed after that.

The old saying is,  within reason, doesn't matter what clubs you have (except for the ez clubs...lol)  stick with em and learn how to use them to your advantage. Also you have to play the game often to do this. Just a few games a day is enough, if you have the time. As in real golf, you can't expect to get better by only playing 1 game a week just for example.

With any golf club we have.. takes time to get use to em.

    Good Luck

       Roger

At Pro level you need a slow meter to get the hang of firing in close.

Rapture or K15 irons is the way to go. Out of the two I'd go with a Rapture full set of as high a level as possible - that got me to Master at which point I needed the extra distance and control of G20's - I'm now one low round away from Tour Master and I need to level up to get the higher level G20's or I'm going to struggle.

Realistically now I now need to see level 83 and replace everything I have bar the putter. So I'm grinding the Ready Go's to build up credits.

Get good wedges (I like Clevelands)and Srixon balls to start - then move onto Callaways.

The Rossa is a good putter which I replaced with the Daytona when I got there. The Daytona rocks IMO.

I also joined in 2008 when the site first started up. Played a bit, forgot about it. A friend then reminded me about the game earlier this year and my had it changed in the 4 years in between.

So in reality I've been playing less than a year - but my account suggests I've been playing 4 years. Don't assume everything is black and white.

Do you have a better set to recommend?

It depends on what you want to spend. If you have the credits wait one more level and get the lvl59 G20's. All the best clubs have a similar high trajectory, so you'll want to get used to that eventually. I played with the R9's for quite a while while I was moving up and thought they were decent clubs for the price.Whatever you decide, ditch those EZSwings ASAP. Happy hitting!

    +3!

And if you have some spare credits, get yourself two custom wedges, Pings (from 110 each) or up.
