    Hi All,

So I tried out a free tourny last week at RSG back 9. Amazingly, I placed in the money with a tie for 26th place 31.

    My prize = 4,64 credits

Can someone who is up on these things explain how this 4.64 was calculated.

I tried to figure it out from the table, yet that just confused me.

    Thanks

Must remember pi R(squared) in relationship to Avagadros number.

Once extrapolated, the results can clearly be seen via Uvision

LOL - nice simplification MB, particularly omitting the differentiation term.

A more sophisticated method of calculation is shown here / there =>

i checked that out that chart and got confused. the chart said 26th should be 96c.. .08 X 1200 = 96

    winner gets 216

In a tie for 26th you get less than a single 26th obviously.

See the leaderboard showing the amounts won:

41 players are tied for 26th, you'll have to distribute the percentages of all of them between them and then re-calculate.

And 0.8 percent is 0.008 x the total prize.

26th alone would be 9.6 credits.

ok thank, im getting closer to understanding

    the winner had a 29

then xN had 30, then xN had 31, getting clearer

damn, it sucks to be dumb like me, i shoulda tried a few more times for a 30 or a 29

    u sure 9.6?

    i figured 96 ...1200 x .08

the chart/rules says ties are all added up then divided by the number of ties

if someone is smart enough to break the 1200 credit purse down for  me that would be beyond awesome

    math = hard
