anyone closing their account?

  To markgs --- This topic has been written about for 2 years.  Rather than try to answer you I would recommend you take a day or 2 and read through the 100'2 of forum posts about the meter issues.   There are plenty of suggestions on how to make this game playable on your machine --- and 90% of it has to do with your machine.

  To jmtoller --- I play on leaving the game either March 15, 2039 at exactly noon --- or when I die .. whichever comes first.  I will have my attorney leave specific instructions in my will regarding leaving you a set of clubs.

  I don't think people who invested in better equipment really close their account, they might just come less often or leave it like that. That way, if they 'fall in love' with the game again, they won't have to re-invest again.

  Also, you can't receive clubs your tier doesn't qualify for (eg.: Master Clubs and you are in Pro).

  If I ever close my account, I would do it... but only to those in my friend list because they are great 'finishers'!

  I hold no restrictions. Anyone who wants to give me clubs or balls, I would be more than happy to accept them lol.
